Congrats Matt. It’s cool to get a car going after so many years sitting. I’ve get a similar situation. My dad gave me his 79 corvette that’s been sitting for 25 + years cause he had no time to fix some issues.

Matt, Ive got a 1967 Camero with a 327 powerglide transmission on the collumn. Rebuilt the motor and restored it however Ive got to restore the outside of it. The quarter panels etc. When my dad and I were done and the Camero was painted thats when my dad was excited he almost jumped into my arms he was awesome but passed away from stage 4 lung Cancer and now I have to fix up the outside again and have it repainted. I cant wait to get it all fixed up again it was my mom's first car.
Have a great and safe day
