    "Goodbye Tiltrotator-Hello Tilt bucket!"
    Said no one, EVER.
    Tilt buckets are common for construction-sized machines here in Australia, really nothing special, they can allow you to grade a slope, thats pretty much all. No one who has a rotator on a machine would give 2 looks at a tilt bucket.

    We use a lot of power tilts in switzerland. Basically let's you use every bucket you have as a tilt bucket. Cheaper than a tilt rotator as well.

      You do get what you pay for and sensible people don't buy a semi truck to haul a push mower just like those sane people don't spend 40,000 when they only need a tool with arguably 30% of the function for 10% of the cost

    Very limited use. Can’t be locked in place for when you don’t need to tilt and that’s why I think it’s no good.

    • @RJ13Davies
      @RJ13Davies ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Why would you need to lock it in place?
      Spent years using tilt buckets and tilt hitchs in civil construction industry. From lying pipe and services to roading and earthworks. Never once have i thought i wish i could lock my hitch when it stays where ever I set it

    • @mballs8985
      @mballs8985 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If your tilt bucket, hoses or couplings start leaking fluid and you can’t fix it where you’re at in the field, locking it level in place would still make it useful if you are grading or finishing, or in my case, just scooping stone out of the back of a truck. Not only that but the worn hydraulics have slop in them and if you are trying to dig something difficult and don’t want to be fiddling with a hydraulic accessory when all you need is a static bucket.

    • @RJ13Davies
      @RJ13Davies ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mballs8985 only realy a issue with a rotator or tilt hitch in my eyes or don't have a Quick hitch (witch all our machines have or our 4 new cats have tilt hitchs) I've broken fittings before, drop the bucket, pick up another out of the 3 and carry on after ringing the guys to come fix my tilt bucket. Dont want my tilt bucket and want a "static" bucket i simple the it of a swap it in like 20 sec.

    • @mballs8985
      @mballs8985 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@RJ13Davies your speaking in terms of ideal situations. Ideally you would have more buckets to swap and use when necessary. Ideally you would have a mechanic fix your leak ASAP. I’m talking about situations where you are limited with what you can bring, what you might have and small companies and self starters don’t have much to work with. When you drop this much money on a bucket and it can’t lock in place level to use for grading and general use, it’s not worth the money in my opinion.

    • @RJ13Davies
      @RJ13Davies ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mballs8985 very un common to find a machine under 30 ton where I live that doesn't have atleast 3 buckets if not other attachments and some sort of quick hitch system. The tilt buckets are very handy and usefully things to have specially in the hands of a good operator.
