      Haha yeah, but we do have a lot to thank Tamiya for 👍 there will be a few on here in time. The wing is a jc racing products wing, a very good copy if the wing from back then. I like them as they do last a long time, and take a beating aswell 😁

    Hi Richard, that was another extremely useful Schumacher (rerelease) build video for anyone starting building one of these. I agree these cars are a hassle at times but also so great and interesting. TC - Maarten

    Hi mate, I was having trouble with getting no rebound on the shocks but ended up solving that. Thanks for the tip on drilling out the pistons, the kit ones are way too firm, even with light oil. The springs for front and rear also seem way, way too firm, especially the rear. Cheers for these videos, really helpful for us guys new to these older style kits.

    • @lo2713
      @lo2713  ปีที่แล้ว

      Glad its helped, if your lucky you can find the spring kits in shops or schumacher direct. Worth getting if your gonna race, but if your just driving it. It just wants to be a little softer 👍

      @@lo2713 going to race outdoors on loose dirt in vintage class, some older ae green springs seem to fit so I’ll use them for now. A random question, the gearbox has a bit of a higher pitch sound to it, it’s reasonably free, although not as free as a gear based transmission because of the belt, is it normal for cougar transmissions to have that high pitch sound to them or perhaps it’s also the telescopic drive shafts that are contributing to it. It’s not bad, I’m just curious if it’s something you’ve noticed.

    Another good build video. I did the shock piston mod as i didn't want to wait anymore for the muzzoom pistons, so i drilled mine out , but i didn't realise that they had different part numbers so now i have 8 pistons "cougar & procat" all mixed up . Do you know what the difference is or how to tell them apart .
