I have a great deal,of experience doing this and you nailed it! The only things I have to add are 1) arrange seasonal items together on display. I had a ton of Holiday “stuff” I needed gone. Placing it neatly together made it more appealing and all Easter, Christmas and Halloween stuff went immediately. 2) I always had a basked of candy at the checkout for my shoppers. They loved that touch. 3) I have an uneven driveway, so I placed “watch your step” signs on the ground to prevent a mishap.
The Free box is essential. Art teachers love buttons and odds n ends! And yes, those things that you think will sell immediately, almost always end up in the Goodwill haul. True story. You rocked this!

This was a great video & I am happy to see you doing TH-cam videos again too😊 I like your suggestion for the clothes rack & I just ordered one from Target that was 30% off for my next garage sale. I always price stuff too & I print my own price stickers on my printer at home using the very small address labels (I put can get 2 price tags per small label). I use a crossbody purse too to keep the money in. Glad you & your mom had a successful garage sale😊 My daughter helped me out with my last two garage sales & she enjoyed it.

We don’t have clothing racks but we have ladders that fold up like scaffolding. We hang clothes from it!

Another tip is to have a neighborhood sale if you can! We got soooo much traffic last year
I love going to neighborhood sales! It’s so easy to hit so many sales in a row!
This year's neighborhood sale was re-scheduled Without prior notice.😢 That's why the traffic was light.

Me too! I feel bad charging for those things, but someone might find them useful! I also put stained kids clothes in there bc they can be used for play clothes.
