@@aliunbound8305 View was stunning, the weather was so clear on that day, great food too. Only problem i had was that my jacket was too light for cold weather lol
Thanks for watching and commenting, Amanda. It was the best, wasn't it? I really liked the infinity pond on the terrace though when you get it at just the right angle. Very cool.
Oh I see. That's awesome. As for me, I am multilingual. Speaks 3 languages but could only read and write 2 of it. Could understands bits and pieces of Mandarin and some other Chinese dialects even though I am Chinese. I can't speak my own mother-tongue which is the Hakka Chinese dialect. Hehehe. Yea, that's me. Mostly I wish I have better command of the English language.
You're welcome. Just remember that it'll be totally different in December and will be covered in snow for ski season. Just check when ski season starts on their website.
Wow didn't know Biwako Valley looks like this without the snow!! It's amazing!! We were there during winter (mid-January this year) and there were snow the night before, so we get to see the town covered with snow along the journey. Definitely a wonderful experience. After watching this we would LOVE to visit during non-winter time the next round!!
Puri and Sue Definitely. You should do it. There are so many activities to do. I'm the opposite. I've never experienced it during ski season but I want to.🙂
Lin Nyunt Yea we're surprised! Would love to try the zip-lining, the view is spectacular! We didn't ski though, only play around with the snow and slide down the hill (our first time seeing snow, so we're very excited haha). Thanks for sharing!
Beautiful scenery from top of hill! I lived in Japan years ago, but I never knew Biwako terrace.... Nice introduction of Biwako to Gaikokujin tourists ! I bet they don't know Biwako? Nice to show some country side of Japan ! Thank you!
Wow, what a fantastic place. It looked so beautiful. Good try on the unicycle by the way, haha. The view at the top was better, even tho both were stunning. It seemed like there were fewer people at the top? :)
Hey Andreas, thanks again for watching! Yeah, it was a gorgeous place to visit. There were fewer people. Maybe most people didn't want to pay for the chairlift or were too lazy to walk the steep incline? Haha. Can you ride a unicycle?
Yes, that's right. You get off at Shiga and catch the bus for Biwako Valley. Remember to check the times for the last return bus and allow plenty of time to catch a return cable car/ropeway because there can be a long wait for them if it's busy and I don't want you to miss the last bus.
Which view do you prefer, the one from Biwako Terrace or the one at the very top from Cafe 360?
Biwako Terrace. The cascading walkways/stairs make it more beautiful.
so informative for me & my family. thank you!
You're welcome. Have a great time!
Thank you so much, very helpful for my upcoming trip.
You're welcome! It's beautiful. I'm sure you'll have an amazing time.

Misa M Thank you!
Awesome video and sharing. Very informative too. Good job!
Love your accent and English command.
Thanks so much for watching! I'm happy you found it useful and enjoyed it.
And thanks for subbing!
Since English is my first language, I guess I should have command of it.

That view is amazing! Too many people though, I wonder if weekdays would be quieter there....
Yeah, I loved that place.
It was the start of Golden Week in Japan. So everyone was on holiday.
Yes, I am told that there are a lot less people during the week.
Wowww I planning to go biwako valley in early December2019 .Thank you

How did it go?
This was an awesome video! I'm so glad you shared this, there are so many places and things to do that have yet to be discovered.
Thanks again for watching! Yeah, Japan has some incredible places. Finding them is one of my favourite things about living here.
It's definitely a place that I want to go back to. Not in summer, though. Even up that high, the heat was brutal.

This terrace part had just opened when we went.

the zipline looks LIKE A GREAT thing i must do hahaha, i literally would run full speed and hit all the chimes :P
Yeah the zipline would be loads of fun. As for the chimes, I'm too much of a perfectionist to mess with the tempo.
Hi Im planning to go to Biwako Terrace . Can I ask from Kyoto what station did you get off? Shiga Station? Thank you
Yes, that's right. You get off at Shiga and catch the bus for Biwako Valley. Remember to check the times for the last return bus and allow plenty of time to catch a return cable car/ropeway because there can be a long wait for them if it's busy and I don't want you to miss the last bus.
@@linnyunt Wow thank you. Its good that I found your video. Somebody told me to get off at OMITAKASHIMA but I cant find in google map.
How did the trip go?
Wow! we’re planning to go there next week. I was wondering if its okay to fly a drone there?
It's a great place. Sorry, drones aren't allowed. I asked them the same thing. Otherwise, this video would have had some drone footage too.
Lin Nyunt I see! Thank you. Nice B-roll by the way 👏🏻
MissyMae Thanks! Have a good one.
