After a RC (formerly GM) a official updates comes out 1-2 weeks after the initial RC if no known major issues conquer still or no new RC’s are required If you don’t want to wait a RC is basically a early available version of the public release so simply install that via developer options
@@mitchelldarnell5334 unfortunately the IPhone 7 Plus has been long unsupported and discontinued it will no longer receive any more security or future software updates past iOS 15.8. 2 you will still continue to get security updates but consider buying a newer iPhone if you value features considered in this video

I’m on 17.5.1. Unless I missed something and it was previously removed from the betas, when I delete photos from the photos app it does mention this is a permanent action. Was that message not there before?

No reason for a back button on an iPhone. That’s an android thing and you don’t need it there either as you can just swipe from the left of the screen and go back anywhere you are.
On the iPad Air it’s my testing device. Seems pretty smooth to a point I see a few bugs on iOS 18 you should wait like a month or so to update your devices
iOS 18 developer beta four is out which will also be public beta two as long as there’s no additional issues with it. However, the public data always comes out after the developer beta usually the same day or it could be a few days.
The wallpaper dimming bug. You always mention that one isn’t being fixed, but what about the real annoying bug that has been there since the launch of ios 17? The volume slider bug, is it still there?
Yes it is i’ve noticed sometimes even tho i turn off the volume it just goes up a little by itself it’s so weird it doesn’t happen when I’m connected to AirPods tho.

I found a bug on ios 17.6 RC in iphone 11, In app library snapchat and instagram app icon is not loaded proper its showing white app with some grid lines on it

I should have bought a 256 GB storage phone but I have used up less than 29 GB storage so far, so … I am hoping for the best. Plus, I had to splurge for another iPad mini (6) plus USB-C brick, a pair of Apple ‘phones, and other costly stuff, so I bought an iPad mini with 256 GB storage instead since I like watching my movies on a bigger screen, my iPad one. Hopefully I can trade in my iPhone 15+ in one year.

did they bring back attention awareness with Face ID in alarms? it stopped working for me when I updated to 17.5.1 on alarms, timers and calls, it doesn't lover the volume when Face ID detects your face like before.
Apple bit off more than it can chew with iOS 18. It’s been months since the last iOS 17 release. I get the feeling 18 will be a chaotic release with a lot of missing features.
I really wonder why Apple is so lazy with iOS 17 this year…there will be no iOS 17.7 it seems…unlike iOS 16.7. The only way iOS 17.7 is coming might be over the years with security updates and Apple runs out of small numbers like with iOS 15 back then…where iOS 15.8 wasn’t a major update. They might concentrate on Apple AI for iOS 18 but forget intentionally the current users.
@@GameMetLars14 Yes but there might be the danger that iOS 18 makes older iPhones even slower. The iPhone XS Max in my collection is quite slow on iOS 17 and my 11 Pro as well. If iOS 18 isn’t as stable as iOS 12 was (which all iPhones got that handled iOS 11)…that won’t be any fun!
Apple should just quit with the major version number change if it’s not containing anything major…. iOS 15.7.10 etc…. Clearly denotes a security or bug fix update, Apple did this back in the day with 4.2.10, why they issued iOS 15.8 instead of iOS 15.7.10 is confusing to the consumer. Likewise 17.4/.5/.6 don’t need that version number, they’re not major updates at all, iOS 17.3.4 etc would be more appropriate
@@ErdadlerI’ve seen iOS 18 betas running on iPhone XR and XS and there isn’t really any issue. They run really smooth, especially since the public beta is out now.

Updated my iPhone 14 Pro to 17.6RC and I still have the standby bug which doesn’t allow me to edit it

They are always included in the main updates. They did a few dedicated security updates, but havent released them since.
