    I had to mute the Curtis Fuller chapter (example from "Blue Train") because Warner Music Group and Universal Music Group blocked the video from being watched. You can maybe try to play the tune on your own and sync to the video. ;)

    Probably my two absolute favourites are:
    trombone start: Carl Fontana - "A Beautiful Friendship" (live at Concord)
    non-trombone start: Byron Stippling "Night in Tunisia" (Count Basie Orch. Live in Tokyo 1985)

      the Basie band swings so hard on that recording!
      The whole trumpet solo has a lot of interesting licks
