Just wanted to say thank you! I have learned so much from your videos. One tiny point (or suggestion) would be at 00:36 you’re talking about alternate positions… but I can’t see what you’re doing. 🥳 Maybe put the notes off to the side, or even leave them where they for 2 repetitions and then take them out so that we can see your positions. Thanks again
So happy to hear that my videos are helpful. 😊 Yeah, I really do cover the screen with notes. I guess I’m thinking that’s the most interesting part (the alternative positions are as you probably know stated above the notes), but maybe sometimes it’s better to show the actual slide instead. Thanks for the feedback!
Hello and thank for purchasing! I have no plans at the moment to include audio (and actually hasn't really considered this to be a request feature). I might start researching how to do this the best way though now that is brought to my attention, but I find mp3s to be a bit inflexible as you can't change the tempo and so on. If I make a proper book / course in the feature it would be fun to record a great backing track with real musicians, but for now I recommend the iReal Pro where you can both import songs and chord progressions - and make your own. Thank you for the question!
@@DanielKJohanssonTrombone Very informative, recovering from long term Covid just waiting to feel the air back in my lungs then I’ll be back on the trombone. Watching your videos keeps me updated. Thanks 🙏🏾
@@DanielKJohanssonTrombone yeah it really sucks, shortage of breath so trombone playing has been greatly compromised but I take each day as it comes as another day of recovery hoping that I’ll overcome this beast from the east !
Hi ! Thanks you for your advices, it helps me a lot ! But i dont achieve to pay those exercices... the arpeggio works good but not this one, any idea ?
Hello, glad to hear it's helpful! Do you mean you paid but didn't receive the PDF? In that case, email me at info@danielkjohansson.com and I'll take a look!
Hi, thanks a bunch for these amazing videos and exercises. I have played sooooo many scales and arpeggios of 1, 3, 5, 1. It was really nice to focus on arpeggios, instead of playing scales again. Do you have arpeggio cells up to the 9th in all keys by chance? Would totally buy a pdf with that, :)
Thank you for the feedback and kind words! 😊 I don't have anything like that (unless you count the first cell in this video, which you can use as 2, b3, 5, b7, 9) but I will think about if I can put something together! I usually want the exercises to have a clear implementation into jazz improvisation as well.
Yes, the gain for the trombone signal was a bit hot in this video, fixed now. Distorted rock trombone!
You're so good- love your breakdowns. So easy for us to understand. Your playing inspires me sir Daniel! Thanks a ton.
I really appreciate that, thank you for the kind words!
I love your sound man. Curtis must be one of your idols cause I can hear it🙏🏾
Thank you! Curtis is definitely one of them. 😊🎶
One more marvelous video !! Thank you Mr..
My pleasure! 😊
I had no clue what was going on... but I loved the sound!!!
