Why didn’t t you take the blue cap off of the ppm pen before cleaning and while calibrating?

The PPM pen does not have a cap :) The blue part u see is part of the entire pen. There is no way to take that part off.

Ya i was weired out by that too, i take off the guard for cleaning but put back on for calibration.

you keep saying that "it doesn't matter" what kind of water you use to clean off the pens, but from what little I understand you shouldn't use RO water to clean your pens.
