Your videos just keep getting more amazing each time. Thank you sweet Scott & awesome Randy for showing us that cemetery & telling us the story about that sweet lady who passed 150 years ago. It sucks & sad on how she had to be buried there all by herself.... she seemed so sweet from her story. You and Randy are so neat. May all those people buried there along with the awesome lady RIP.

Scott, I’m watching your video’s one by one, and you really did GREAT on this one. The stories of those wagon trains going West have faded from our collective memories. This remote place seems to echo back to those times and what the landscape must have been back then. Thanks to you and Randy.

THANK YOU Scott (and Randy...) for shining a light on LUCINDA PARKER DUNCAN (~1792 - 1863...) - and the desert cemetery where she was finally laid to rest (with many others, as the years went/go by...).

Thank you Scott the was truly an interesting video. I have traveled many times from East to West coast mostly by car and a few by airplane. The last trip was a daytime flight & it was amazing to see the tracks and roads through the desert from the air. RIP the mom and all the others buried in the desert. I spent 9 years in Cali but I am more a forest and black dirt type of gal , desert has always freaked me out a bit ,as in if your car breaks down and nobody passes by for days you can die of heat or 😢thirst ….

I grew up in Nevada, Las Vegas in fact, and I can and will tell you that it's most definately an interesting place to see and visit. As a kid, my friends and I would play in the dessert, it was our play ground, our wide open back yard, so to speak. You did have to watch for spiders, snakes and scorpions in the different areas of town (the out skirts of town) in which I grew up in (North Las Vegas). Now days, there's so much built up there but back in the 70's and even into the 80's, there wasn't much to see. It was, when I was a kid, very desolate, super hot ( dry heat, low to no humidity) during the day in the summer and freezing cold at night in the winter. Summer nights aren't too bad, that's when we would see most people come out...not so much during the day. It was fun and adventuress for me as a kid, to grow up there. When I grew up, I was married in an old 1800's chapel that was well maintained by the owners and rented out to people for weddings and such.

Thank you for sharing Lucinda's story, it was quite clear how much people cared about her. I love that they stayed there for a day so they could have her funeral. It had to be so hard for her family. I think being on top of the hill and the view she has forever, is perfect. Thank you, Scott. The other markers were so interesting, young and old people, family plots in the desert, RIP Lucinda Parker Duncan

This is such an interesting story. It's so sad that they had to leave her that way. It also sounds like they built the cemetery because of her since it was named for her. I'm so glad her family came forward to tell her story. She sounds like a very special lady. That had to be so hard for her family to leave her like that. I think this cemetery is beautiful and such gorgeous stones all over the place. This area seems so isolated , but these folks are not forgotten, and that's so good to see. What a beautiful story you guy's told. Thank you! RIP to all ❤💐

Hi Scott and Randy, that’s a beautiful cemetery out there in the middle of nowhere, there are some beautiful grave sites, that’s so sad about Lucinda dying on the road and then being buried in the road. her family must have been well upset to have to leave her there. Also sad for Lucinda being on her own for so long until they moved her again. She has company now which is good, I’m glad they named the cemetery after her, so no-one ever forgets her. RIP Lucinda 💐💐💐💐. Thank you Scott and Randy, very sad but interesting story which I would have never have known about without you guys going there. Happy new year to you both ✌️🤟🏼👍🫠🥰🥰
