The Kenda Klever RT is a excellent hybrid tire, another is the Yokohama Geolander MT, they call it a MT but it really is a hybrid RT, they have another real hardcore MT, you do not want that one, lol. I have the Yokohama Geolander MT and I am mostly on road with my truck and they ride very smooth and quiet but look very aggressive and are great off road.
Can’t go wrong with bronze wheels on a black GX, GX looks great good job. Don’t make it too nice or you will finish not wanting to take it off-roading 😂
After you trimmed your bumper you had all the wheel well liner hanging down. What did you do with that? I would have been interested in seeing how you handled that. Thanks
Yes, Im concerned about rust but also water jumping into the air intake which is above the passenger front wheels. I will cover it up and makes video about it, it might be ghetto but I just need it to work. As far as rust, I plan to wash my truck every other week at minimum in my shop. The best prevention for rust is removing the corrosive material off the surface. Unfortunately, we live in terrible states for frames and even with protection they're almost always getting torn up

You just answered something else for me too - was considering doing the undercoating to prevent rust but probably just need to be on top of washing it...

absolutely! I've been meaning to do this actually to make it a bit cleaner. It's been a while now and I havent and honestly I never even pay attention to the bumper anyway. Being it is plastic, I am not afraid it will cut me or rust.
Those were 265 70. I did not have to trim with those on. I just removed my liners and threw them away but I should have kept them so I could reshape them and reattach them. Now I have too much exposed under there.
My D666s came with that plastic insert to make it more hub centric. I didn't use them on my GX. The wheels don't really use the hub as support. What's your thought on it?
Nope, didn't use them but I found it sat inside the hub just fine. So long as I felt it was flat and tightly secured I'm good with it. I do retorted every chance I can.

I just put the kendas on my f150. Last two weeks and snow I love them. Went 265/70r17 to 33x10.50x17 and I for sure lost a couple mpg

I just cut it off. I still have the pieces so I'm going to figure a way to zip tie it back on just to provide a bit of protection.

How do they ride on the road since they're e load rated?
Pretty good man. A bit of road noise for sure but nothing I can't live without. The cabin on our GX are solid enough to mute quite a bit
That looks awesome! Can you give an estimate for MPG with the new tires? The GX is thirsty with stock size Wildpeak AT3s.
