Hey Brant....nice video! I grew up here in Okaloosa county (68 now) and from the time I can remember my Dad would take us fishing and camping from fort pickens to panama city....was an every summer thing (he got 4 weeks vacation every year) Have fished almost all the piers and bridges between here and there. A bunch of the bays and bayous also, not to mention all the rivers and lakes. I have been on Blackwater and Yellow river from the state line down to the bay. To me the panhandle is one of the prettiest places there is. It was a lot prettier back in the '60s and 70s before all the building happened on the gulf, but still a great place to live. Was just a great place to grow up!
Hey Brant, remember when you were running two a days during the summer? I was a customer and been subbed since the beginning - what a journey - been great to watch!! Congrats and Tight lines!
Very kool footage! The sharks and gators etc is why I don't swim anywhere near salt water or rivers leading to the ocean! Bull sharks have been found over a thousand miles up rivers! No no no
The first or second drop which showed that big gator just floating looked like Godzilla lol . Loved the video. So cool to see what’s under the water , those tigers oh wow. And people swim out there 😮
So cool! Thanks so much for sharing this wonderful footage! I’m a born and raised Florida girl. We drove across 41 many times growing up. My Dad was very adventurous and we stopped often to see the gators. Had family in Miami. Thanks again for sharing!
Love the "live action" Go-Pro drops. I have been working on my wife to get her up to making a trip to Florida. She always says that I can go fishing here in AZ whenever I want. NOW, after watching these videos, she understands the allure and difference in fishing in Florida vs AZ. Though I don't think she'll go swimming in the ocean if we get out that way. The sharks really spooked her, lol. Thanks for the continued quality content you provide to us. Great stuff! Have a good one guy.
Brad, your unknown fish is a "Bermuda Chub". Not a species you want to eat. They are infamous for trailing cruise ships waiting for the "human waste" to be expelled from their suage bilges. Nice videos.
Watch Landshark Outdoors Relative to eating Bermuda chub I kept a couple haven’t eaten them yet, but he claims they are good eating. I’m going to try them.
I'm from Bermuda. They are as said the Bermuda Chub. They are dark meat fish, thick filets, easy to catch with bread using upto 15-20lv test, no sinker or float, just hook and bread. Taste is how you season it. At times abit oily but when all else fails better than being pricked by Pin fish ASA Shit Bibblers in Bermuda, as they pop as soon as you handle them. Good white meat, but thin filets and boney .
I have a 300 gallon acro reef tank and I love these gopro drops, thank you for doing them. The 3rd drop you did and didn't know what kind of fish it was looked like a file fish.
Brant, Awesome footage. Have fished the Okaloosa Pier many times but had no idea it was covered in that many species of fish. What month did you drop your cam at the Okaloosa Pier??
I stumbled upon this channel and I love it! I have trail cams setup all around just to see what’s out in the wild but under water is completely different! This is amazing. What GoPro model do you use??
Good Morning Brant , just wanted to say that this is probably the absolute best drop go pro I have ever seen!!!! 🎉🎉 Keep up the great work and we appreciate the time and effort you put into your vids!!!!
Thanks for such an interesting video. Another way to distinguish remora from cobia is that cobes have a more pronounced fork in their tail, whereas the remora have an almost flat tail.
I am in South Australia, I believe that our coastal waters are chronically overfished. No point fishing without a boat, I gave up fishing off our jetty's. It's been about 20yrs. Everyone I've asked said it's now even worse. It's amazing to see what a decent ecosystem looks like. 😢
Don’t get me wrong, your fishing vids are fantastic Brant, but this “drop” video is such a banger. I feel like I’m snorkeling there. And like you mention, the diversity is insane.. I also thinks it’s incredible that you were spotting mutton’s up north by you. I’m such a fan of catching snapper when I get to Florida. Mutton’s ,mangroves and sheepshead are my favor to go for. And damn, it’s amaze how many tiger sharks are in that are. They would certainly keep me from spear fishing. Lol. Keep up they great work and narration. These drop videos are so interesting. 👍🏻🇺🇸
Fantastic footage. Really enjoyed seeing the variety of fish. Besides the one red fish attack, I’m surprised there weren’t more predator fish going after other smaller fish. Thanks again!
Thats wild! Gar are a pain in the ass to catch when they are so small! We catch spotted Gar in North Carolina and it takes patience for them to eat the bait and set the hook. Their heads are so Bonnie setting the hook is hard!
Never get tired of your videos. The crackling noise is the rocks etc. You can hear that if you’re in an aluminum boat Louder crackling better the bottom.
Nice footage. I'm wondering if you could attach a tripod on the bottom of the gopro so it could sit steady on the bottom, as well as get it up a little higher.
Thank you for the under water video. So amazing. Fish i have never seen before!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤. I could watch this all day. So many fish. Now wait for sharks!!!😂😂😂
Great footage where do you get a GoPro in Canada I'm so interested into what I can see in our waters , if you could send me a line thank you and you sound so clear thank you
Your go pro seems to be better than a transducer I rather drop down a go pro to find fish and use the go pro to catch fish this video was great I am glad I watched it 👍
I thought the snapper at 16:40 was a lane snapper but it could be a juvenile mutton. Hard to tell from the footage. I've seen hogfish on Panhandle reefs so mutton is possible.
I’ve never seen that gray fish with the horizontal lines, before. I tried looking it up and couldn’t find a thing. It wasn’t listed on the Southeast Atlantic Coast fish chart and I even checked on the North and Northeast Atlantic charts and NOTHING. I couldn’t find that rascal anywhere.
Your damn lucky you didn't lose your GoPro to one of those Tigers. They aren't called garbage cans of the ocean for nothing. They'll eat just about anything from normal prey to license plates. Which i'm sure your aware of.
Always fascinates me how fish know to hang around their own species, I often wonder if they make mistakes sometimes and swim off with the wrong group lol
Pretty certain it's a doctorfish tang. Same striped pattern, shape, and color. Only appears with less blue on the fins because the water is a little dark.
Ok, so just trying to figure this out..... you drop these blind and have no idea what is on the footage until you bring it up, download it and watch it? Your knowledge of fish species is great! I went to H.S. in Pensacola and we used to catch hammerheads at Ft. Pickens and surf Perdido when the storms would bring waves. This brings me back. Doubt I'd get in the water with all those sharks these days.
My friends always give me a hard time, bc I won’t go in the ocean, offshore or ANY rivers. Sharks and gators, for some reason, are my fears, but I like my extremities. 🤣🤦🏻♂️

Legit, I don't swim in any body of water 😅Except pools, if that counts, but even then there's always bees/wasps
The first or second drop which showed that big gator just floating looked like Godzilla lol . Loved the video. So cool to see what’s under the water , those tigers oh wow. And people swim out there 😮

Lovely!! Great while having my morning coffee...it was so long, it lasted thru both mugs!!! Thanks, Brant!!! Love it!!! ❤❤❤
thanks for mentioning the locations. A big help for those of us not been to Florida. Not yet anyway. So many nice places to enjoy.
I had no idea there were tiger sharks around the panhandle.
That was awesome.
A world hidden beneath the water.
God is good.
Best regards from Pittsburgh😀
I just love watching these GoPro clips. They are so awesome and educational.
Great video of underwater FL shots. Will be back in Walton Co in May to hopefully do some fishing.
Gators are so cute, how they go all floppy in the water with their leggies out, just vibing under there. 🐊
Dude I think you just discovered a Tiger Shark Nursery on Okaloosa Island nice job

In Hawaii we call them Nenue, very sought after fish. They are delicious
They're great bro. You just have prejudice

Enjoyed the video. Would like to see a line dropped near the camera to see what different fishing line look like underwater.
Brant, Awesome footage. Have fished the Okaloosa Pier many times but had no idea it was covered in that many species of fish.
What month did you drop your cam at the Okaloosa Pier??
What a beautiful world you have there Brant 😮
I stumbled upon this channel and I love it! I have trail cams setup all around just to see what’s out in the wild but under water is completely different! This is amazing. What GoPro model do you use??

Now I understand why I was told never to swim by piers or around docks. Like I’d ever get in the ocean! Just simply amazing footage!
Would love to see more of your underwater adventures with the go-pro. Thumbs-up 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
this vid got me to subscribe. it was the descriptions of the various fish species and no music other than ocean music . thank you.
Brant, these are amazing. Would love to see Miller pier in Panama City beach.

I loved this video and comentary.
It would have been nice if you added a couple still shots of your catch from these areas.
Dude, where do you get the energy? man you're all over the place, great vid man
Can you tell us what GoPro you use, what settings, and how you rig it? I would like to do something similar on our inland lakes. Thank you :)
All those Tigers! Wow, thanks for the great video!
Fantastic footage. Really enjoyed seeing the variety of fish. Besides the one red fish attack, I’m surprised there weren’t more predator fish going after other smaller fish. Thanks again!
Great video footage, amazing what’s sitting in each small body of water or stacked around structure
Amazing content!!!!
Would be awesome to have another pole out at the same time and try to film a hookup with the go pro.
Thats wild! Gar are a pain in the ass to catch when they are so small! We catch spotted Gar in North Carolina and it takes patience for them to eat the bait and set the hook. Their heads are so Bonnie setting the hook is hard!
Amazing footage...You do a GREAT job at capturing great video.....Your narration is quite good too...Very entertaining. KUDOS to you sir !
cool footage! especially with the remoras all around it. clean up crew
Great video 👍🏻. Please do more like this ❤. Thanks for sharing
That is my FAVORITE beach it’s so incredibly crystal clear and it goes so far out that way it’s mesmerizing
Never get tired of your videos. The crackling noise is the rocks etc. You can hear that if you’re in an aluminum boat Louder crackling better the bottom.
You mean the barnacles on the rocks? Rocks don’t just crack, barnacles do. You can hear them inside a large ship from the barnacles on the outside.
Nice footage. I'm wondering if you could attach a tripod on the bottom of the gopro so it could sit steady on the bottom, as well as get it up a little higher.
I love it when you do these videos they're so entertaining and educational. Keep up the great work.
5:58 kinda cool how clearer the water seems on the bottom. Maybe it’s just an illusion but it does look a little clearer.
Thank you for the under water video. So amazing. Fish i have never seen before!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤. I could watch this all day. So many fish. Now wait for sharks!!!😂😂😂
I love these videos dropping and watching, please continue 👍
Really enjoyed seeing what was below!
Crazy. I can see your shadow from the bridge looking upwards
I love the Everglades under water footage you never know what you’re gonna see
The fish must feel like they get some cover//protection under the piers and under rigs.
Can’t say I blame them!
Love these videos it confirms one thing for me……no more swimming in Florida!!
That was absolutely awesome thank you Brent.
Ever thought about sticking two GoPros together and getting both sides?
Great footage where do you get a GoPro in Canada I'm so interested into what I can see in our waters , if you could send me a line thank you and you sound so clear thank you
Beautiful go pro footage !
On the catfish, I was thinking the same thing. They’re identical to Bullheads.
Those catfish I believe you were right on....a brown bullhead.
You should try the chesepeake bay one year. Dark water good fish.
The school of catfish was a bunch of bullheads. Cool to see them school like that from underwater.
I would love to be fishing out there!!!!❤❤
What time of the year was this
Hey sir you should do a quick video on how you rig your gopro up, so others that decide to try to do this don't lose there gopro
Great footage as usual... nice bermuda chubs btw...
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 I am so grateful to see the biodiversity! Love it! Thanks!
I think those are Bermuda Chubs swimming with the Jacks Brant,
I’ve never seen that gray fish with the horizontal lines, before. I tried looking it up and couldn’t find a thing. It wasn’t listed on the Southeast Atlantic Coast fish chart and I even checked on the North and Northeast Atlantic charts and NOTHING. I couldn’t find that rascal anywhere.

Love the channel bob keep them coming ❤
I enjoyed watching this from frozen Pennsylvania , thanks
Ontario Canada here, I can’t wait till spring.👍🇨🇦
And that water is insanely clear...my scuba diver friends refer to this kind of water as "Gin Clear".
Always fascinates me how fish know to hang around their own species, I often wonder if they make mistakes sometimes and swim off with the wrong group lol
What is the black fish with vertical stripes at 39:03? It looks like a surgeonfish but I can't find anything online.
Pretty certain it's a doctorfish tang. Same striped pattern, shape, and color. Only appears with less blue on the fins because the water is a little dark.
With the water so clear and and blue it looks like a large aquarium. Loledited to add , I wrote this before you said it. 😂
Ok, so just trying to figure this out..... you drop these blind and have no idea what is on the footage until you bring it up, download it and watch it? Your knowledge of fish species is great! It would be cool if you ever went to Louisiana and dropped a go pro in the bayou 💙💙
Great vlog!
Didn’t you post this a while back already? Seems like this is the second time this footage was posted????
This is a compilation of all my best GoPro drops I’ve ever done for those that missed them. That’s why it’s 45 min long
wow. so amazing!
Nice video. Would never get to see that. Could you scrape the piling and video what happens
My friends always give me a hard time, bc I won’t go in the ocean, offshore or ANY rivers. Sharks and gators, for some reason, are my fears, but I like my extremities. 🤣🤦🏻♂️
I was going to say It looks like you were filming in a Aquarium!
At 3:56, is that a Placastamous? A sucker catfish on the floor that the GoPro went by quickly?
Awesome go pro videos!
Unknown Bullhead or Catfish looked kind of like a school of flathead catfish? The color was sort of brindle-ish
Great video watch this for hours
Great video brlet's go pro drops Better than sea world
Create video brant love the gopro drops
Another Under Sea Adventure of Jacque Brant Cousteau, Just Love it!
It would be cool to have the go pro down and film a fish being caught.
Great vid as always
LMAO! 21:45 ⦿o⦿
Come to Naples!
We caught a 40 pound black grouper and a yellow tail snapper off of pensacola, so the muttons aren't a huge surprise.
Whiting is a excellent fish to eat...they almost look like a albino red
Thanks for the great video
28:00 might be bermuda chub
I paused your video and then used Google lens to find it.
So beautiful ❤
The fish are hiding from the gators where the water is cooles, under the bridge.
Those were Plecostomus and brown bullheads, AKA buttercats.
Just how in the heck does someone know this information? I ask out of jealousy.
Too many hours with a fishing rod in my hand? IDK. LOL@@Tom-fo5ce
@@AstuteActual Thought you may be some kind of fish or wildlife biologist - which is a career I have scheduled for my next life.
