Man, I'm glade you posted this. I keep telling everyone who keeps wanting to go with the Koyorad racing ones or other racing replacements and also daily drive that they'd deal with this. I never knee about this company making this version because I too prefer the heat exchanger setup since I daily mine. I didn't want to deal with delayed shifts or temps too low before operation.
You welcome bro...just trying to help. we isf guys are a small group..got to help each other 👍..this is not a popular stand..but feel strongly on the fact that no heat exchanger causes premature ware on our transmission.glad to see companys releasing radiators with the transmission heater built-in. So what would be the best recommendation combo for an ISF just daily driven hardish, not so much racing really, just street, I’d want the best performance for long term. High mileage ISF 170K KM (100k miles basically) never changed oem radiator. Was looking at koyo but I think you make a valid point.
Do you have any extra parts for your Isf your trying to part with. Also do you happen to have the stock driveshaft or have you changed it out to a carbon fiber or aluminum?
I kept the rr racing trans cooler..just ran all the stock lines..you can run a stack pne..but the rr racing trans cooler is a good upgrade from stock..
@@nickadkins7765 12.14 is my PB hope to break that....11.99 could happen..if the da is negative.. but doesn't look like it will be ..pluse I'm in index 12 so can't break out lol ..
@@samiboost404 got one on order, waiting game now. Do you recommend changing the upper and lower radiator hoses too? I have a 2010 with 99k miles. Had the valley plate and water pump done recently also.
The rr racing pkg is Great...works very well in road racing...but in daily use not so much..I explain why in video...the external cooler helps with cooling excellent..but there is nothing to warm up the fluids while idling in cold start..hope this helps..
@@samiboost404 so replacing the koyorad with the fernix while leaving the trans cooler would be the answer? can i still use the hoses that i had in my koyorad for the replacement or do i have to get new ones? thanks for answering my question btw you're a big help!
On the pictures online i see the L fitting at the bottom next to the drain plug and the straight for the transmission cooler on the left side Are they able to be removed and swapped?

With switching radiator did you keep the same trans cooler from RR or replace back w/ OEM

Sup bro...yes ..it is just like factory...you can also upgrade the external trans cooler or leave it stock depending on use..👍
What foam are you using at the perimeter?
I bought this foam seal in home Depot..1 inch wide ..it comes in a bag rolled up...I've used this type for years..hope this helps..👍
