    Have you ever visited George Town, Penang? Would you rather eat wet or dry noodles?
    Thanks for watching! ☺️🧡

      In Singapore and Malaysia majority eat dry wanton mee. I like mine with a lot of dark soy sauce. The sauce is not just soy sauce..should have lard oil, shallot oil perhaps, oyster sauce? Sugar?

    Yeah the lor mee Ingredients are the same as the prawn mee ( Hokkien mee in Penang), the difference is the broth. Some sellers will sell both lor mee and Hokkien mee. I sometimes will order mixed lor+Hokkien mee. So yummy.

    At first, I thought is carrot cake but is rice cake with the same ingredients of Char Kuay Teow to Char Kuay Kak. I had Lau Sha Bao in Dim Sum and Tai Tong Restaurant made it so special for Steph. Kimberly Restaurant must be specialized TeoChew Style of marinated meats/ducks. Most of its flavor came from the gravy of the Hainan Lor Mee. The fish cake wrapped in banana leaf almost looks like Uni-Sea Urchin. I would get the mango gelato as well. I had pretty much the same Bamboo Pole Wonton Noodles when I last visited Sham Shui Po in HK. It's a good exercise as well to strengthen the thigh riding on that huge bamboo pole. Duck Kway Chap is my most favorite here.

    • @HungryTwoTravel
      @HungryTwoTravel  ปีที่แล้ว +1

    You can get otak otak in a lot of places in Malaysia and Singapore but I think only the nyona version is steamed others are grilled over charcoal.
    You didn't try other dim sum items? Salted egg buns has been a recent craze especially in Singapore...actually a lot of places sell it but not all have the orange coloured buns (prefer naturally white though).
