Thank you for that video! I’ve been reselling for a year and photographing items is still my biggest struggle. I learned a lot of great tips in this video.
Thanks for sharing your photography setup. I also love PhotoRoom. My biggest challenge is the lighting so you gave me ideas there. Your pictures are always stunning.
Vickie, you read my mind again! Thanks to Mark for explaining his process, it was very helpful! I have difficulty getting colors to match what I see (aka What you see is what you get), so I will give ProCamera a try! I use List Perfectly to cross post and use Photoroom that's provided with the subscription. It's great!! Please keep your great videos coming! You two are the best!!
we asked, you responded and I LOVED the tips for photgraphing reflective objects. no matter how i tried i couldnt get good pics and this was very helpful. i need a Mark! lol
Thank you so much, I took a photo yesterday of a black lacquer carved wood baby elephant and it looks horrible, I want to capture the joyful look of this sweet carving as he is playing with a ball and his trunk is in the air and his ears are wide open and flapping, he is so sweet but oh my picture is horrible. Going to try all Marks techniques! So grateful!!!
Thanks for another great video! I especially had an 'aha' moment when Mark spoke about photographing shiny dark objects, & how the glare 'washes out' the color. I'm looking forward to trying out his tips! Janett
Our photos wouldn't look a fraction of what they do without using the PhotoRoom app to process them (remove background and replace with white or black). Love that app! Thanks Maggie!
Thank you, Mark for sharing your process for photographing the listings. Very helpful especially showing how you adjust to accommodate different colored items.
Wow I can’t tell you how much this helped me. I use both apps as well. You’ve helped me finally understand glare, as silly as that sounds. Thank you so much for taking the time to show us this ❤️
The lighting set up is fantastic. I am probably going to get rid of my light box and try this approach. I always struggle with clear glass, so this has cleared up several mysteries. Thanks, Mark and Vickie!
Now this was a nice surprise. Thanks Mark for teaching us how to improve our photos. I love almost everything about selling on eBay but taking pictures. Hopefully my photos will improve with yours and Vickie's suggestions.
I have used the white and black posterboard backgrounds in the past. I also use foam boards. I have some that give you like an industrial metal plate kind of aesthetic. I also have some with a nice wood pattern.

Maybe he could start a TH-cam channel! Just know that it’s hard to get monetized, if at all, if you’re teaching children.
