Mr. Waddell, I’ve seen you and the bone collector crew through different television series through the years and have seen products with bone collector on them in my outdoor retailers that I go to, but in all honesty, I’ve never really paid attention to you guys. Well, I got Covid recently. It hit me hard but thank God I didn’t have to go to the hospital. Anyway, while being laid up for 2 weeks I found y’all on TH-cam and went down a serious bone collector rabbit hole. Long story short, you’ve made a fan out of me for life. I love how you all seem incredibly genuine and how you tell it like it is. Seems to me that it’s true when you say that you’re just like us out here and in the days of this social media b.s. with men and women “hunters” doing whatever they can for likes, you guys are a real breathe of fresh air. You guys really got me through a tough spot with Covid and I’m grateful. Please keep the content coming wether it’s hunting adventures or bow advice or whatever! Thanks again- Fan for life- Dan
Good list! I'd also have to add a flashlight or a headlamp. Where we live here in south GA, I'd always carry along a Thermacell as well. And we may not want to talk about it, but it's always a good idea to pack a small roll of TP just in case!

Bone Collector sucks!!! I wasn’t even to worried about the opening day in a couple weeks now I just had to watch this video this morning before I got up. Now I’ve done bought my license, am going to pull all my trail camera cards, and am fining to go kill a big buck. It’s all because I watched a video of what Michelle Waddle caries in his backpack. I might be crazy but I LOVE IT!!!!!!!
I always have a back pack when I go deep but for the most part I can pack all the stuff I take right in my hunter safety vest and my cargo pockets sometimes I ask myself how stuff is too much stuff but you guys know how it is if you don’t take something it’s irritating when you realize you needed it for that sit lol don’t know how many times that’s happened to me out there!!!!!!
I like to use a fanny pack during bow season, back pack during gun season. Personal preference, but it's so hot here in the south in early season I try to keep it to a bare minimum, But when rifle season rolls around I have my backpack loaded and ready, usually have a couple bottles of water and something to eat, a roll of tp, extra ammo in case I get attacted by some wild pigs or a troop of sasquatches, or run into some tweakers that want to be stupid!
This video inspired me to do one of my own. By the time I got my pack empty the video is 24 minutes long! Michael, you're missing the most important item!

No Thermacell? That kind of toughness more than makes up for the hand warmers.
I use Sawyers insect repellent, works better than a thermocell and cheaper. I spray down my hunting clothes and they are good for 5-6 washings.
