Nuno is one of my all-time faves.... and now, with Edward having left us.... Nuno kind of carries the torch for me, in some respects. What a player. What a song-writer! Amazing talent, and he just oozes with cool. And it was a nice treat to see Kylie doing this story. She's a delight to watch, and listen to. A good interviewer, and fun! Can't wait to see this on Axis TV!

Glad you enjoyed it and you too @tammyf.7864 if you bothered to listen its not really about the nail polish its about the process but sure, I could have just gone over the same old ground again... this is just a snippet of a whole 2 days I spent with him where we went back to his childhood home and delved into a whole lot more.
Nuno interviews are always so much fun to watch. Him and Ringo Star are my favorite interviewees.
its great when a person can take a simple question and know how to expand on it to make the answer much more than answering what was asked.

To see Nuno teach her More than words takes me back 28 years (!!) to my guitar teacher's shitty room..
I grew up on his music, and to hear him speaks so freely about everything is a delight.
hahaha,,, it was quite an experience... If you are based int he US check out the series on AXS TV as we go back to the house where he grew up and wrote that song and we play it together... it blew my mind!

Great interview. He has been one of my heroes since 1990 and feels like he could be the exception to the 'never meet your heroes' rule. Such a good human being and an amazing talent
One amazing year Nuno and I constantly ran into each other. The pool at the Candy Store in Ft Lauderdale (twice).., the first class cabin sitting next to each other twice going to Boston and once leaving Boston to Fort Lauderdale. He and his bandmates were super chill, and Nuno is amazing to talk to. I also play guitar and questioned him on his practice techniques, his influences, the struggles of keeping a band together through hard times, etc. i can tell you from my limited time in his presence I could tell he loved talking about music in general, and guitar most of all. I will always go see Nuno when he plays SoFla. Great person and musical genius. Long alive Nuno Bettancourt!

As someone from the north shore of Massachusetts where nuno lived. Seeing this brings back so many memories of growing up in the 80s and 90s and playing with my old band. Never met nuno, but maybe one day. Awesome video 🤘🤘

I saw that one too.. it was a more "professional" level interview. This one was more street level, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. We got to see a different, softer side of Nuno. Where else are we going to find out why he only has nail polish on his left hand? LOL!@@rvsrclothing

Love all of Nuno's work especially Population One and especially his solo album which is frigin amazing composition
"Dramagods" as they became to be known - Love album, that no one seems to know about. I think a couple songs on that album became parts of Extremes Saudades de Rock, including Losing You. I had a copy of that album that I had to import actually, such a great album. Although I think the Population One album was 100% Nuno on all instruments. I really wish they would have taken more of a natural approach to Six, but it is what it is. Super excited to see them here in three weeks. :)

“Do what it tell you!” Lmfao 😂😂 I grew up in Boston watching nuno before they were signed. I was too young to get the in clubs so I’d sneak in with my friend (who was friends with Nuno) and we’d watch sound check, then sort of disappear until they played the show. He was the real deal back then and it was pretty magic to watch him, I had their demo tapes and I’d ask him to play me one of his solos at a gig or two, so I could try and figure it out …and he’d smile (and maybe chuckle a little) thenjust play it…I was captivated and very inspired. Dude is the shit.

Loved this. Been following his entire career. This was a great friendly interview. Was waiting for Nuno to "go off" during the more than words lesson.....DO AS I SAY. Didn't disappoint. haha. subbed.
No truer words spoken than what nuno is saying about doing the thing you love and the fans enjoying what you love.. fans are sharp and can read through false intentions and if you don't love what you are doing how can others really vibe off of it..

I love Nuno, really nice guy, and he's become one of the greats. Back in the late 80s I bumped into him here and there in clubs when I was also trying to "make it", he was always really cool. Back then I could have held my own with him, but I've gone into a "normal" life where I play six hours a week instead of the old days when I played six hours a day ;)

Cool interview, Eddie was always my man after Clapton and now that Eddie is gone and I saw Nuno was a huge Eddie fan, he has become that guy to me.. I have always loved their music, but it is a bit more than that now and he even pays some tribute to EVH from time to time. Loved the childhood story part of it also, give deep appreciation to what he has accomplished.

I've met a lot of famous people - mostly musicians - and the coolest people in person are Nuno, Zakk Wylde, Gus G. and John Corabi. Nuno in particular - I will never forget - he ushered me into a sitting space just like somebody I've known all my life.
This man doesn't age! Legend, and an Enigma wrapped up in sick guitar riffs and passion of the pure sounds!
