Hunter, the author of that abrams sight has posted an improved version that doesn't have the issue with black bars if you are playing above 1080p in case you would want that. The non illuminated setup is a little wonky but with sight illumination on it looks like what you used in this video but improved.

@@spicemarines the only way you would get out of spawn was at the start of the game. After that you would see one team eyeing down the enemy spawn from their spawn and vice versa, no one getting anywhere. If you enjoy that then I guess this change sucks for you

Sometimes I'm alone on the ground and my whole team is in the planes and helicopters
Every time I take mine I have to bring 2x AIM-120's and 2x AIM-9M's because there are so many planes up. I seldom have games where I can take a full payload of AGM's and GBU's.
I honestly commend the dedication you give to playing the US despite the games/teams being so utterly painful.

You know, I watch a Hunter video and figure out a new method to cause chaos with. I usually run 2 Mavs and 6 GBU. Get 2 GBU kills and the Harrier is light enough to VTOL to a degree, so I set up above the enemy spawn zones and plant warheads to foreheads. Never thought to run 3 Mavs and 3 GBU.
Edit: Just glad you weren't the poor AV-8B players I've been dropping GBU's on when they try to VTOL land.

The clickbait has made the US a painful team to fight alongside. By the end of the match the only teammates holding on are the other minor nations unfortunate enough to be paired with them.
That’s why you stay from the 10.0-11.0 range because anything above that is just painful

I Appreciate that you are only person (beside me) that I know of, to use a commander's sight. Thats a big reason why I much prefer Ariete over Abrams, Leopards etc. CITV on Ariete has a perfect mix of zoom levels and Fov and placement on the turret. I also like that everytime I was in a team with you, we had a great matches. At least from my experience, you don't have the typical "looks good on video, sucks in real matches"
Commander sights are useless 99% of the time
Thanks man, I enjoy playing tanks only in big maps, so if you saw me suck in Normandy or Cargo Port or Advance to The Rhine or Abandoned Town or Abandoned Factory it is just because I can't stand staying for too long on the ground in such maps, so I turn OFF brain and rush to die and leave such childish scenario or spawn in a plane in the 2nd spawn. Not even the holy snail can force me to play rank 1 maps 95% of the session time, I won't do that.
@@Optimusprime56241 now, I would say like 65%. Very Vehicle and optic dependent. Just as I said, Ariete is the one that actually has the perfect optic for the commander

Yeah, you can use it with F-16A in the lineup, both are 12.0, to reduce Fox 3 spam :D

I'd like to ask how to use guided bombs effectively. Every time I lock onto a target and drop the bomb, it seems to drift randomly and quickly hits the ground
Lock a target, use CCIP\CCRP reticle\indicator, drop the bomb.
it was bugged until like a day or two ago
So hunter do you have any idea why the tv lock is so weird sometimes i mean i play the SU27SM and I sometimes cannot lock even at 8km but it says it can be fired up to i think 30km any idea why?
Weather issues mostly, if it is not clear getting a lock will be harder with optical and IR TV missiles.
It was like clear day and or example i was looking at a LAV from like 5km and it wasnt locking but when i switched over to an abrams it insta locked @@Hunter_i86

Hello Hunter. Im new to the F-16 and to flying CAP at high to top tier. So far its going great but i do have some issues, mainly SPAA such as the Pantsir.
Could you maybe try out this loadout?
AIM-9M/AIM-120A/AGM-65G/LANTIRN/AGM-65G/AIM-120A/AIM-9M
The Mavricks are there to snipe helicopter and SPAA. I use the G since it has a HE warhead, sometimes the HEAT warhead on the other Mavricks refuse to fuse on helicopters.
Hello, sounds great! But Maverick G is heavier than D so it might not turn well on a diving helicopter? not sure though.

Hey man, most of maps are bad for tanks in my opinion, they are designed for WWII tanks or infantry warfare, they are not good for modern tank battles, so your suggestion about limiting CAS means no fun on the ground and no fun in the sky as well.
Right now I enjoy playing modern tanks in big Tunisia, Sands of Sanai and "big" Maginot Line in the first place then secondly "big" Fulda, Red Desert and Surrounding of Volokolamsk, that's it. I don't care about my KD or stats so I rush to die as fast as possible in maps like Normandy or Cargo port - which are the majority sadly - to either leave such childish arcade scenario or hop in a plane in the 2nd spawn.
Even Fields of Poland and European Province have been ruined and I don't enjoy them anymore. More driving less shooting now.
@@Hunter_i86 my favourite map is fire arc, I enjoy the sniping gameplay too, I just know fire arc best compared to the maps you’ve listed. I just can’t seem to find the spots on them!

Targeting pods view have their own button, since maybe a year. It is called "Targeting Optics View" button.

I see so many people try to shoot down the plane and not the incoming ordinance that's about to whack them, rookie mistake.
They did that in the F-16C video, that one guy shot down all my 6 Mavericks at the end of the video haha. Crazy

The targeting pod has the thermal then you need a button to activate nvd mode

How long does it take you to find a match? Before I unlocked my F-16c at 12.7 I used to wait 10s to 30s but now it is like 5 minutes 😢
It takes too long when playing 12.7 USA, that's right, the main reason is because tanks max BR and plane max BR is not even.

@@leonmoran9323 Maverick will not reach unless you were at high altitude, so to kill a target a 8km range you need to be at 4000m altitude which is not practical at all.

Ya need to learn how to VTOL. Those landings took way too much time.
Cut in from the side of airfield, 100% thrust vector at 100% throttle, airbrake, flaps down. Tight turn. Gear down, Level out, reduce throttle. Land.

I have a question for you brother, I understand the thrust vectoring is handy, but is this a must to use this properly?
My question really is do I need to take the time to bind and familiarize myself with learning vectoring or can I just fly this like a normal jet?
As I watch I do see landing on the helipad is nice
@@ExcavationNation I may not be Hunter, but as a user of the Italian AV-8B Plus the thrust vectoring is one part of the Harrier's toolset. You don't need it to fly well, the flaps alone can make this thing turn sharply but the thrust vectoring will help you get the edge in dogfights.
I have used the hover many times once I secure the air zone from SAMs to sit above the enemy tank spawn and drop GBU's on their heads because they don't look straight up for enemy aircraft.
It really just depends on how you want to play it, all in all the jet's great to fly.

You can fly normally without it, Harrier II already has a crazy turn, but also for secondary purposes you can bind some far keys for it, like (+ & -) in case you wanted to land on a helipad or you were in a despaired dogfight, or also as Fox said if you wanted to hover above enemy base and drop bombs like a Kirov from Red Alert 2 LoL.
Honestly I stopped playing A10 when they raised it to 10.7, it's another gaijin trick to get people to buy the premium
Never surrender, video soon. Early and Late in one video. Also Maverick warhead is good now, and some TV mechanics bad issues have been fixed yesterday. It is not too bad my friend, just be careful from the 2s6, stay at 8km away from battle and snipe with Maverick B missile.
@@Hunter_i86 I really wouldn't like to face panstir... if strela is enough there is no chance against a pantsir, they really do have an excuse to raise the late one since with the AGM65D and thermal you can shoot at 8km and they will arrive without problem, they have no comparison with the agm65B
@@mcldark7169 You won't face S1, it is very very rare to see Pantsir S1 if your lineup is 10.7BR but you will see 2s6 a lot.

Yeah, they like shrinking maps, for some stupid reason .. but I'm glad it is still big. I don't mind they made the hills slighter and shifted the spawns out of line of sight, I'm ok with that.
