I’ve been going to punk & underground shows since my teens in the late 1970’s. Unlike so many weak bands Slaves get that rock and roll is not about rehashing sounds from the past. They take their influences to a new sonic level and push the envelope. Great band with the rare trifecta of killing it live, on recordings and vids.

Seeing Slaves live at Ally Pally was genuinely one of the best concerts and crowds I've ever been a part of. The vibe was incredible. Made all the better by the way everybody turned on the frankly shite support acts (one of whom vomited and chucked his shoes at the audience). But once Slaves came on they owned that stage.
