I’m just a beginner and I can’t get cells but then again I don’t have a torch and I’m still trying to get the paint consistency right as well so I’m just kind of practicing on bits of cut up cardboard boxes instead of forking out for canvases for now until I get the hang of it.

It's beautiful! If you go back and watch the video [start at 19:01], when you tipped the last corner off, there was a beautiful turquoise cell next to a magenta cell. I was yelling at the screen for you to stop! You didn't hear me [across time and distance!]!!! Off went the cells.... I really needed this today! Thank you! My state, Virginia, USA, just went into lock-down until June 15!! In practice, it probably means nothing to me. I have been self-isolating since March 18. I guess it's just the realization about how bad they expect things to get and how long they expect it to last. 10 more weeks. Thank you for the respite from the news.

I would like to see how your pouring medium looks like. I want to see how thin it is. I am using Mart Monte PVA glue 60 to 40 and it is so so thick. Thank you
Really nice painting although I think I prefer the purple and magenta piece better. Can you tell me how you ‘SCRAPE’ a previously used canvas so that you can use it to paint on again? When you talk about scraping a canvas are you referring to one that was painted on and allowed to dry before you ‘scraped’ it to use it again? Thanks in advance for any information on canvas scraping.
Mary Ellen Richards you can only scrape a wet canvas. If your painting is dried you then paint a base coat over it in order to use it again. Hope this helps and stay well!

I like this but I don't understand the difference between stripey bits and lines of color. They all look like stripes to me.
