- Ever since the debut of the Acolyte episode 1 and the acolyte episode 2 on disney plus....the acolyte reviews have hit an all time low for lucasfilm and disney star wars and its only making things worse for bob iger, kathleen kennedy, leslye headland the woke director and even amandla stenberg who plays mae & osha in the acolyte. Recently amandla stenberg blamed blamed false reviews after the acolyte reviews hit rock bottom for disney & lucasfilm and went on to attack fans. Later we will be heading into a acolyte episode 1 review as well as a acolyte episode 2 review to go over all the nonsense from leslye headland.

As a gay male, I can categorically say the Acolyte is bad (in my view). Watched the 3rd episode last night in the hope it might get better but nope. Just plain boring with not a single likeable character. Good luck trying to out do 'The Empire strikes back'. The same has happened Dr. Who's new series. Ratings have tanked and produces and actors blaming homophobia, etc... Nope... just bad writing, bad acting, etc.

Right!? How could anyone be so delusional to think that "a majority" of star wars fans are gay?! Back in the day, it was CRITICALLY important to have solid writing and a good story, because they didnt have great special effects and other things that could help prop up a movie with subpar story and writing that we have nowadays. But even with all the modern technologies that can help bad movies and shows not be so bad, they still managed to do such an absolute horrendous job at writing and the story, that real star wars fans see this as a "coup de gras" except without the mercy part or "hara-kiri", which may be more fitting analogy. Basically, star wars is dead and they killed it and killed it in the cruelest and most sadistic sort of way, by turning it upside-down and inside out, mutilating it beyond all recognition and clearly showing how enormously proud they are to have done it, which makes it that much worse, like salt in the wound.

There once was a time when they made great characters “who happened to be a part of a particular community”. It’s subtle but what that means is you make an entertaining and well developed character who happens to be gay, black, native, Asian, etc but those things should not define the character.

Nowadays they blame the fans. They were raised to not be responsible. Disney has ruined my childhood. Such as Star Wars and Indiana Jones. We go to movies to relax and enjoy our time away from work. I don’t want to hear ideologies and political views shoved down my throat. They are sick.

The plot, the acting and the casting is horrible!! Are we supposed to believe that long lost twins somehow wear the exact same wig? It has nothing to do with diversity. It's just really, really awful.
I'm not a Star Wars fan but I know that Star Wars fans aren't against diversity, John Boyega was for the most part loved by the fans, he could have been gay or whatever it wouldn't matter. I don't even have to watch this show to know its bad.

Jackson and the voice of Darth Vader, James Earl Jones. I know some woman may be upset Lizzo did not make a appearance, but don't fret, there she is playing Jaba the Hutt with her voice altered to represent a giant worm.
Were they there due to being black or because they are great actors who filled the roles excellently? I believe the right actor needs to fill a role that more aligns with their actual self.

There is no plot twist that’s not seen from a mile away. The Trinity chick faked her death, used the voice modulator to disguise her voice, calls herself a Sith and hired the most idiotic yet lucky assassin she could find with disgraced ties to the Jedi order to somehow kill the “evil” Jedi.
