Starting with the basecamp, I always thought the tiny links was an odd place to cut cost. I mean, how much more would it cost to put thicker links on? It can’t be more than a couple bucks.
This rig would love some Deez shock bands with those stock shocks and a little more brass like you said. Definitely likely that this is the most capable RTR yet. I think that was the first RTR that you’ve had make it through the crack of doom.
I just watched Harley's review on this. The trans on the rtr doesn't have the machined and lightened gears and motor plate like the kit does. Also it doesn't have the high pinion axles like on the kit.Uses Fordyce axles.
I get that the color is a play on the standard tennis ball gates, but I wish they would add more options other than silver and yellow without having to get the clear.
Does the RTR come with the 3 different shock ends like the Carbon? Also, which are you running on your Carbon? I have the mid length version. I might try the short ones.
@@ExocagedRC what exactly needs to be shimmed? Do you have a video on it? If not might be worth making one because all my vfds do that and I’d like to eliminate that sound lol
I wanted a Vanquish just to get into the hobby at 44yr old tomorrow after months of watching videos on TH-cam. Had a Nitro Traxxas many years ago now but nothing since and fell back in love and wanted to try electric. I ended up with a PS5 bundle instead for Christmas and while I'm always appreciative and thankful and don't really ask for anything as fun as the PS5 is I 𝑹𝑬𝑨𝑳𝑳𝒀 wanted my 1st RC🙄
🤣🤣 you're in the wrong channel buddy...Gran Turismo or Call of Duty ain't here. But welcome to the RC world. Don't get a Traxxas, but if you have to get a TRX-4. Or Start with a Redcat Ascent like what Joe featured here, low budget but more than capable crawler. Or if not a crawler get the Team Associated Rival MT10 or Arrma Kraton or Mojave 4S.
Here I am doubting your ability to leave it stock, but giving you the benefit of the doubt thinking “hey, maybe this is the one!”…..then seeing the end of the video 😂
@ExocagedRC I only use a tablespoon or 2 when making 4 eggs. Got the idea from Gordon Ramsay. He says to use heavy cream, but we always have sour cream on hand and yeah, it's the way to go. Add just before they are done. Do it too soon and they start to get spongey like they do with milk and the sour cream gets too runny and less creamy.
So excited that you're getting first releases now.
this one just entered my wish list for 2024. thanks for the video!
I think that's the Rig I've been waiting on for my first crawler of 2024. 👍🏾💯
My first RC crawler and have been enjoying it so far. 🤙🏻
Boy that's a good-looking truck body.
I remember when Ridgeline was about your only obstacle. Or at least the original pile on concrete. It has come a long way 😊.
That’s pretty impressive! It really does get after it. 👍👍😁😎✌️
Little milk in some scrambled eggs makes them fluffy pretty good great video man thanks for the unboxing have a great day
Solid rig for the kiddos! iMO. 🦁✌️
Great run buddy 💪👊
Looks like with a little work… it could be a contender 💯. Thanks for the Video.

Please post another video when you adjust the suspension! I’m interested to see how low it will sit
happy new year
What is better the Vanquish or a RedCat Acsent with a Fusion Pro and tire upgrade?
Yeah I want to see a comparison runs here from Joe with those trucks.
I want to see a upgraded Acsent vs the Vanquish for sure. Great idea

could be the most competitive RTR to date? Who knows!!
It is
Sweet review.
🎉🎉🎉

Well just get a can of whatever color you want

Are you gonna get new vitavon scx6 chassis ? Would love to see a review on that
The bouncer? Yeah most likely
Make the kiddos fix their own rigs! 😂
how would you say the performance is on this vs the ascent with the DSM chassis?
🤩
Has the infamous vfd tick right out the box
gotta be shimmed

Why are the tires so big
Idk they are a bit large to be spec’d at 4.75.
Vanquish cheater tires lol.

Don't use milk it makes them spongy. The trick is to add sour cream right before they are done. You'll thank me later.
Sour cream? In eggs?

Keep it stock and simple 🤣 i don't believe you.😁
me either lol
I don't believe him either!!
It’s a lot easier to keep it simple when you have a carbon to upgrade🤣
I’m with you @@ExocagedRC, I’ve heard that song from this guy before and I don’t believe him for a second. 🤣
it's clicking pretty loudly , 🤔
gotta do some shims in it
@@ExocagedRCjust got one yesterday, mine is clicking too. Could you do a video on how to fix that? That would help a lot 🤘
Looks like some deez loops would help this rig out bunch
Actually bit disappointed in those links. But they do look like spaghetti
Ugh too many choices lol. Love the industry taking leaps, but man my wallet can't take it.
Try a HobbyWing Fusion SE 1800 KV in the STANCE 👍
