Hi I just have a question which I know its hard to answer without seeing the van but it is a 2005 sprinter I keep getting a charge pressure is faulty charge pressure is too high code which cause the van to shake on acceleration. I went through the van replaced a hose that was broken, put the metal pipe for the turbo resonator, replaced the boost sensor and IAT sensor. I also cleaned the egr but to eliminate the problem im going to try the resistor on it but my only question is how would I know or test if it is the turbo actuator?
I hope you can help me out I have a 05 dodge sprinter my question is when my ingen is running if I open the oil cup oil or from deep stick oil jump out its normal?? please let me know thanks

I tried deleting my EGR today with a resistor but I lost engine power and check engine light came on. Plugged back in and van works again normal. What I’m I doing wrong I plugged into the two right prongs. I have a 2006
My friend just had the 10 start and check engine light come on after def said was low and I filled it. I’ve been reading a lot about glitched computer system with these sprinters. Mine is 2014 no other issues was running perfect then that damn fluid said low. I drove quick to get fluid. I didn’t overdrive it and never had an issue when refilling before. Any suggestions I’ve been reading about bypassing this whole thing too. Tks
Is your DEF light still on? If so my recommendation is to flush the DEF system most likely there is calcium build up on the sensor and it can’t tell there is fluid or on of the pipes has build up on the walls and it caused it to get clogged, also DEF fluid freezes unfortunately, if it’s really cold weather it might be frozen, if it was me I would flush the system and then use radiator fluid in the winter, I don’t know if it’s a good idea or bad but at least it won’t freeze 🥶
So we don’t have emissions inspection in my state. So when I need a new exhaust I can go with out catalytic converter’s? Will it run ok or what else will I need to do?
2004-2006 not having cats will not effect performance, also bypassing EGR will make it better, but I dm g recommend getting rid of cats, I would recommend bypassing EGR do, it does harm to your engine, but cats do good for the environment
I gather if you have the dual oxygen sensors (one before the cat/s) and one after, you'll get a chexk engine light but it'll run fine as the first oxygen sensor is still getting correct readings to control the fuel mixtute correctly.
Do you have a video on cleaning the egr cooler system? I got a new egr and it didn't fix the problem, but I can reset it with my code reader and I get full turbo until my rpms level off... Thanks Serge!
What code were you receiving from the EGR? I'm getting a p2359 code for low boost. I doubt it's EGR but i really don't know. I've been told i need to replace the turbo but i'm skeptical.
It’s almost never the turbo, look for a boost leak or EGR issue, but observe everything and try to make educated guesses where to look next, and check out more videos of how I look for problems lol I don’t have a crystal ball 🔮 so I guess allot but it’s an educated guess
My 2006 recently lost power and would only do 40mph going up hill but could eventually go faster on the flat roads. I could push the pedal down w/no response in speed. It also was blowing some black smoke. By the way it only has 59,000 Original miles! I replaced the intake pipe both upper and lower section and it still is doing it. For noises it was making a faint noise like water running over sand at the ocean which would build then make a whoosh sound like something was building then releasing. It seems just ok when the engine is cold but starts doing it again once its up to temp. Could this be an EGR?

I agree 100%. If they wanted us to use them they should have made them better. I've gone thru the gambit with my T1n's EGR. Even paid 900 for a GDE tune which didn't eliminate it at all, only works on the om647, they still were happy to sell it to me. I ended up just using a block off plate and want to do this resister. Can you send me contact info?
@Alex Heng my first advice is to order a MB start system from eBay and get an old windows XP to run it. The diagnostics the system can run are unbelievable. Mine wasn't shifting into 5th and it told me exactly what fuse and what module were blown. Took me 20 minutes to get it back on the road. Without that system you're just shooting in the dark. It's 10,000$+ system that's been cracked by China and works 100% perfectly. Read up on it. It's worth every penny (around 200$). Where are you located just by chance it's close to me.

Sounds like you need to delete EGR not clean it, and yes I have a video on that

Hi, if I cut my catalyst converter out on a 2008 sprinter and straight pipe it will it affect anything ?
I did that on my 2007 and fuel economy went up and performance, what it will effect is getting it inspected

I don’t see why not, but you might need a computer from 2004-2006 or reprogram the old one, and you might need to replace some wires
