Ok so i made a criticism above. But here solo ended though! That was as organic and real as it gets! Great drum solo and real risk taking but with the real skill and talent to pull it off. Amazing drum solo, nothing to criticise there despite my former comment above. What an ending and cliff hanger also. Brilliant solo and very inspired. Above all thats my view, my opinion above another matter
Whilst clearly an amazingly jaw dropping talented drummer, could the comping behind the sax solo not have been so cluttered? Am i wrong or ignorant? Im a drummer myself and no where near this level , am i being jealous nor have I a legitimate inquiry regarding the motivation to play teeth chatter like stocatto ridden drum comping. I fo love this drummer and her performance, font get me wrong. Her invention and her spirited rhythmic joy is obvious to me too. But i still have a lingering question about the comp work behind the sax solo. I felt there was chance for space in that moment, atleast at the start of the sax solo. A rest and breath composition wise

Not my favorite style of music, but they are all excellent musicians. But give me a beat I can dance too lol, jes kidding
