I've seen that several times at work we had seizures, heart attack diabetic events all sorts of things you never know when someone driving will just drive off road.
Good Job! I was expecting you to use your bed to lift the front end and hook underneath to lift and pull over the curb. More than one way to count to 10.
This is usually why a hospital / ER and such won't release you unless someone drives you home. Thankfully, this was the most of it and not a head on somewhere.

I'm shocked, Clute usually showed no grace for anyone when I lived there. Lake Jackson was the better department and Clute was known to be the bullies pretty much. Good to see a change in the department and integrity.
I have seen a tow guy at the one car auction I used to go to who would just grab the right front wheel with his left wheel lift and pull in-op AWD cars through the sale with only one wheel lifted and one on the ground, the other two LF & RR spinning in midair. I would have just picked it that way and backed up.
Going to work in a busy road/intersection without traffic control doesn’t sound like a good idea to me. Trying to save a few extra minutes isn’t worth my life.
Only 3 minutes in... Trolley jack under the front, lift it high enough to clear the wheel. Winch it from behind while watching the trolley jack and wheel. I'll be curious to see how you do it. I remember when my neighbour drove off the edge of the driveway (complete idiots) and both the rear wheels were off. A tow truck ended up coming in on the neighbours property and lifted it by its tow bar with the tray (destroyed the lawn)
@@Towtruck_Dustin But wouldn't the jack roll along (as long as the little wheels were turned the same way) with the car ? It was interesting to see that you used 2 blocks of wood which turned into the wheels (sliding on each other) As for the jack position, I was thinking mounting it towards the middle of the car parallel to the vehicle . Either way, your way worked and you're the towie.
@@jimsmith9819 Yeah. Depends on the surface, the size of the wheels and whether the jack is a elcheapo one or an expensive one . I have moved my vehicle just a little on a jack, but I made sure I wasn't under it and it was low down in case it came off.
Well, that ain’t the way I would have done it! JK!! You’re obviously a well trained, experienced professional who knows what you’re doing. I’ll not Monday morning quarterback. Well done!!! 👍

@@Queenie_78 there is always a way to get transportation there is many services out there to get transportation when needed you just have to know how to get it. This lady was not fit to drive luckily she had not caused an accident where a life was lost and it was what it was.
@Leotheconstructionguy well he has a remote for his winch. He could have easily just hook to the rear. Put the car in neutral and turn the wheel and pulled it backwards. I've done it a lot. Sometimes without using my truck..
If I was getting paid hourly then I would spend all of that time for sure but with commission nope. Time is money! Turn hard left, stick a skate under it to prevent further damage and winch it up in neutral. 😁
😂😂😂😂 a skate. I need a set of the skates you got if you think that’s enough to do anything. I hope the all the extra money you make in the extra few mins gets you enough to pay out all the damage claims. It only takes a few minutes to do your job right and avoid any damage.
@@Towtruck_DustinI would rather scuff up a skate and protect the control arm/K member and with the tire being so close it would come up as soon as you started winching as it did. Instead of spending the extra time and work jacking it up and also it was only an escape 😁
I work in the towing industry and it's common for a wrecker driver to leave their gloves on for health reasons because the driver doesn't know the whole situation prior to arriving. There are vehicles that may contain some type of drug residue. It's part of being safe out in the field for a wrecker driver.
Not a good idea at all. The higher the rear goes up, the lower the front goes down. Crushing the bumper in the process. Jacking it up to make clearance and pulling it off the concrete guard rail was 100% more effective and caused zero damage.
