I love the old tow trucks, classics all. I remember my dad driving tow trucks when I was very small. I do have a picture of it with myself and my brother standing in front of it around 1955 or 1956. And best I could tell his rig was a 1947 Studebaker. A very rare vehicle today. Not sure any even exist anymore but tow trucks are neat. Love the sling trucks

20 plus yrs here as well Brian. In biz now. 3 yrs. Service only at the moment. And I can't get anyone to work with me to get a truck. lol 8:09 is what I want though. Best truck you've shown so far. I drove one identical to it for a few yrs. Vulcan is everything to me. I see why it's so cheap. No boom. That hitch has to go, or it's gonna eat oil pans up.
12:01 is hot! I like. The beds easy to work with as well. Had this bed on a truck for a minute. Century & Vulcan's Jerdan's are awesome equipment.
    18:49 Bad ass.
    19:40 Another bad ass truck.
20:11 Was a great truck with 19:40's bed on it. Many years I worked it. Miss that old truck. I ever totaled one out. Long hood like that one. Broke my heart. A man left ford motor company's x mass party drunker than shit,, pulls in front of me.. By by doghouse & frame.. I tried to turn out. I should've hit it straight on. Could've saved it.
    Good video

Small blocks when built right will haul all day me and my uncle hauled junk everyday back in west Virginia the 90s with a 400 small block Chevy 4sp 4wd up sandstone mtn on interstate 64 and it's still around today hauling big blocks are nice but so is a mild built small block

Yeah I don't like what that guy said it's got to have a big block my dad had a 2926 cylinder in a four wheel drive C10 used to work at Dorsey speedway old red clay mud pull one car out of the infield and pushed two of them and worked on the interstate with it too and through town you can do it with a 35o 305 400 motors whatever you got gearings and I don't like what that guy said no disrespect to you I like your comment what you said God bless you and family all respect

    Hi Brian,
I have a 1976 f350 with a Holmes 475 wrecker bed I bought 14 years ago from Southern Florida. At the time, I had it shipped up here in North Central Ohio. Do you know if parts are available for that Holmes 475 bed?
    Thanks.
    Scott.

I can't imagine that a Windsor would work much better than a small block Chevy unless it was like a 305. The mid 90's 351 only has like 230 hp. Probably well over 300 ft lbs of torque. I have to assume that most 350's are comparable although I do realize that the late 70's early 80's small block Chevys were super weak. All motors were dogs at that point for that matter. ☹
