I have been really enjoying what I’ve seen in their monthly live streams, but the scope of their game is massive and we haven’t really seen all of their systems working in tandem with each other. I am hyped for this to be the next big mmo, but I agree. Seeing is believing. I have faith they’re going to deliver and this mmo is going to be the next big thing
You seem to have gathered more confidence. This video didn't sound like you're reading a book report in front of the class. Huge improvement. For many years, my favorite game soundtrack was Morrowind, until recently when I discovered Divinity Original Sin II OST. Especially; "Divine's Lament" & "Rivellon". As a fan of Bear's work, I really hope he can take the title, as I intend to spend a lot of time in AoC.
Lmao I appreciate that! I made it in a couple of hours and had fun with it, so that probably helped my voice. I’ve been watching some videos on how to sound like I’m not reading from a script, hopefully I’ll keep improving :)
@@DarkMitten I had the entire soundtrack playing while I played Starfield. In fact, I had forgotten SF even had music 🤣🤣 There are so many great songs: "Mead, Gold & Blood" is another. I'm looking forward to your next video. Are you participating in the Alpha2?
There's no point in getting more Hype for a game that's already fully funded according to it's developers and no where near it's release. It only leads to more drama, false expectations, etc.
I expect a 2027 or later release date and I am still excited! I see a lot of potential in this game and I will continue to get hype with every monthly livestream when they prove they are working hard on this game and are making changes based off community feedback. My expectations are only what Intrepid Studios have promised, and so far they have been delivering.
These hype train videos are just that, hype trains. Look man, this mmo was initially a scam. The amount of time it took to make it to where they are now is, to say the least, extremely suspicious. On top of that the shader used for the assets is so bland because they decided to make it look realistic. This presents a greater problem because now they have to make everything look more real instead of stylized. Meaning that if theres supposed to be a patch, it's going to take an extremely long time to make. The other oddball thing is skills in ashes of creation are all way too hack and slash, meaning it's going to throw a lot of gamers to the dumpster because the gameplay will feel so braindead after a short number of hours.
Oh I remember their massive fail with the battle royale, but the last couple years and even the progress over the past 6 months have been promising. Obviously, they showcase what they want us to see in the live streams and hide what they don’t want us to see. I agree that the rogue class and summoner class for a mmo that’s been in development for 7 years still isn’t ready for alpha 2 feels suspicious, but that might be a product of focusing their efforts on more complex systems. Their studio has grown tremendously in the past year or so and progress is coming at a much faster pace now. Alpha 2 will be really telling later this year and I hope you’re wrong. But time will tell :)
Great video! This is super engaging
Music can make a game so immersive! Great short video on an important part of gaming! Can’t wait to hear all the wonderful soundtracks in AoC
Nobody is talking about it because it's an MMO which doesn't even have a release date yet.
Ah, but one day it will
Current music is all placeholder. Bear will be composing closer to the end of A2.
Ashes is basically Star Citizen for fantasy MMOs; most people won’t take it seriously until there’s a reason to.

i am glad to see more ppl enjoy aoc :)
I played Lineage 2 growing up, so I love that Steven is influenced by it in some of his systems

Also, did you get Lohse’s song in divinity? I put it on my Spotify after hearing it in game.

@@eternaldarkness3139 Oh yes I will definitely be trying out alpha 2! And hopefully my crafting video will be good to go by early next week.
Actually I like the current theme music already so much, and steven said it's just a placeholder! I'll be so sad when it's gone at Launch
I agree, I love listening to it during the outro every live stream looking at the concept arts and gear etc… :)

Scam? Do you have proof it was a scam?
