Another great video Paul the ultra violet looks great like nobody has touched it witch is a good thing. Looking forward to seeing how the heinz 57 prismatic comes on I'm sure it's going to look great. And I couldn't believe it when you mentioned about Raleigh going . A mate of mine (Steve) in Slough where my Gran used to live had a five speed version of this beauty (mine was the 3 speed Sturmey Archer 'Fizzy' as you know.. ) His knob was a round black one !! (said the actress to the bishop !! lol) The new project.. ripper..as they say in Australia !! .. looks awesome !!.. I am colour blind !! lol ! 😂😂.. OMG ..the black looks brilliant mate !! ..I love it !! .. I thought it might be Infra Red as soon as you mentioned that colour !! ..what a beauty though.. keep as is mate IMO.. although Silver sounds good too !! Hi Phil and Mike the bike from hell has been sold quite a while ago now, and yes the 72 crossover was and still is the sissy bar from Hell lol 😂 hope that clears things up chaps?? Cheers 🥂
Hi Phil glad you like the uv as I love it. I was thinking the same thing as you spray it silver 🥈 as I've found out the best colour match to original!! I haven't done anything to it yet but am swaying towards quick silver 🥈 Another cliffhanger lol 😂 cheers 🥂
When you look for or need parts you can't get them.. could you not just buy a cheap grifter for the back wheel and buy a cheap RSW for the front wheel then sell the remains of the grifter and RSW off Meaning the prissi is done and the 72 is kept. If you need any professional welding done on the prismatic then give me a shout !!😮😮
Hi Mike the 72 crossover is going mate, remember I only paid £80 for the whole bike 🚲 and I've never liked it, especially now as I've got a earlier bike, will be going on ebay maybe next weekend or after it's worth more to me in parts for other projects and will get my money back and more for the frame alone, it's the way it goes cheers 🥂
