I love this comment, more people need to get comfortable being uncomfortable by pushing themselves to their limits every day. I got tired of being mediocre so I changed my life. DBZ motivation has helped a lot on the days I felt tired and beat up.

I'm 30 years old. Feel like I've been watching dbz for decades. The motivation and deep lessons this show can teach you are incredible. It may be corny, and nerdy to some, but man this show has helps all of us push past what we thought were our limits before.

This is far more than just a TV show. It’s a way of life. DBZ symbolizes the value of family, love, and most importantly teaches u to fight back even when we are at the lowest point of life ,even when we are about to die. There will never be anything like this . I am honored to be able to witness this magic in my childhood .

I remember perfectly how dragon ball entered into my life. Here in Spain we had the fortune of watching it since 1991.I was 6 years old and a big fan of "Saint Seiya".
Every afternoon after school, with no excuses. One day, a friend if mine asked me if I knew about db and told him about Saint Seiya. Are you crazy? Dragon Ball is way better! Try it.
I started it at the middle of Tao Pai Pai battle.
Now I'm barely 38 and probably, will see Goku as the true hero of my childhood, and a metaphorical way of life container until I die.

I know for me, these characters have given me strength and hope more than once. Its always been more than just a tv show. Dbz is special. I watch this video each time I workout and it seriously pushes me more than I thought possible. Goku is truly the embodiment of the unbreakable spirit and will. His determination and relentlessness to improve himself and become better is what I strive to embody as well. Gosh I love Dragon Ball so much lol.

Sick vid. There won’t be another iconic character like Goku for a long time, maybe even ever. Watching him push his body and mind for his loved ones as a young impressionable kid just made me really wanna get out and put good in the world and good in myself. This show was powerful like that and at 31, I’m still thankful I was able to experience it.

I LOVED dragonball as a kid.
This simple notion - you must keep training, you must keep challenging better and better competition and you must NEVER GIVE UP.
This has helped me through so much shit. I have trained in kickboxing and bodybuilding, went through complete homelessness and being broke twice, having depression, breakups and everything.
But I always imagined self as either goku or vegeta as a kid and the "You can always muster just a bit more, just push yourself a bit further" mentality stuck... and I kept getting back on my feet all the time in life.
I can say I am very VERY persistent and have went from a complete nobody to a large company CEO. I could write a book about the underground and poverty and streets I came from and what it took to keep going forward...
This is a good cartoon and should be shown to kids. It subconsciously teaches something very valuable.
Admittedly, I am a Vegeta fan, but I just realized that I have tunnel vision.

Had a tendon surgery in my dominate hand, 8 months out the game, like a year to get back where I was but it was like falling in love all over again. You'll feel better than ever when your healed and stuck to it
i lost 3 years of my life because i could not get the help i needed i had too rehab my own leg on my own time for the 3rd time i had to re teach myself how to walk and all 3 times i messed up my knees the doctors said id never walk again i proved all of them wrong , i will never give up no matter how the odds are stacked aginst me i will allways give my all .

I’m grateful to come home from school and sit right in front of the tv just to watch Dragon ball and dragon ball z. I used to watch Digimon Pokémon then dragon ball or dragon ball z which ever was on at the time. Definitely the best animated tv series out there. Not sure on super yet cause of how they made Goku in Super but it’s growing on me
