hey! I know I put this comment everywhere but I really want people to know how thoughful and powerful this new era is. So just a little insight to the meaning of the MV (some are my views but it's also from other opinions that I read). The first car can be his previous state of being an thinking. Being anxious and wondering what he has done or not done right. Seeing the world from his safe train seat. Than he crosses this woman who could possibly represent camila and the beginning of his love relationship with her that allows him to discover a new part of his personality (the second car). There the dancers could represent his emotions and just like he is letting the dancers drive him, in a metaphoric way, he is also allowing his emotions to show (he's not suppressing them anymore) and it leads him to another state of being, a scary one at first (cause he's going out of the safe train to see the world) but a way more free state that finally allows him to be his complete and unapologetic self. The running in the forest part could be the journey (light and dark, scary but liberating) leading him to realizing himself. The waves splashing him could represent the climax, the entelechy of him being completly free and happy. When it comes to the dance move, they look very much like yoga or tai chi postures and we know that Shawn has been really into these things as well as meditating lately. So it could also shows that all those practices helped him through his journey. Also the album cover represents him elated and ravished iin the middle of deep water (but for those who know Shawn, being in deep water is one of his greatest fears). Therefore by that he's showing us that he finally has overcome all his demons and fears and that he now enjoys life while being the best version of himself. He can finally dive and feel the wonders of the world.
I gave his other videos a listen and "Mercy" is the best. His others a good for sure and "Wonder" is a dramatic video with great qualities. I would rate this short video an A-. Thanks for your REACTION videos, we have discovered some really new music!

Camila's been a huge part of his life and supporting him since the beginning of his career. No relationship is perfect but they work together, grow together and make time for each other :)
