So good to hear Gordon Tallis being interviewed. A wonderful personality and heroic footballer. A humble respectful man. It's so good to see Gordon on Matty Show.
'Touch the line' - Loved that mentality from Gordy. There's definitely a coach within you James, you probably need coaching more than coaching needs you mate. Great work
I just came across this podcast couple weeks ago. Bloody love it. Love what you did at the dogs James Graham. And loved Tallis as a player. Up the Doggies Up Queensland and Up the Kiwis
Gordon Tallis has earned my respect for his views on the sport of boxing. He dose not want to disrespect the game and that to me is honorary. Only a descent person brought up in a good family would make such a statement.
Either Fox or 9 simply have to find space for Graham, or punt someone, he's that good. Brilliant interviews on this. Maybe he doesn't need TV but these are outstanding. Wayne Bennett opening up and Spudd Carroll being Spudd were memorable.
The mindset is what's interesting. Would that today's Broncos had that. All about the mindset. Gorden is so authentic. What's another word? Drive, maybe.
Remember him dropping on Chris Joynt's back in the WCC. Only thing he did that night. One of the biggest cheap shots I've ever seen on a rugby league field
Tallis had a long standing grudge against Chris Joynt. It stemmed from being whacked in a GB v Australia test a few years earlier by a different player although Tallis incorrectly thought Joynt had whacked him one. As a result he went after him every time they played against each other.

That’s the best podcast I’ve ever watched what a pair of greats you are.
Tallis, one of the GOATS of Footy! Even better bloke off the field, takes time to talk to the fans and all round good bugger.
Two absolute Bulls speaking from the heart.! Kudus to the both of you legends.!
I'm a Kiwi and IMO Gordy is an Ozzy rugby league treasure.
The best rugby league interview I’ve heard. A credit to James Graham and Gordon Tallis.

Great work boys, such a natural conversation. Good on Bloke for sharing their studio, that's skitz.
If anything comes from these podcasts, I hope people realise these guys are normal like the rest of us. Great work James.
Brilliant interview. Thankyou
Lovely to hear Gordan talk about his parents like that. Such respect and love for them.

Brilliant James and Gordon

Great podcast, really enjoyed it
Great guest Jimmy
Gordon Tallis played for Dragons in 1996, they would’ve won premiership.

when i was a kid i delivered newspapers and one of the people i delivered to was big gordy. i was starstruck but he was always such a nice bloke
Tallis. The first backrower picked in my All Time Team. Prob Sonny Bill on the other edge
Another good one 👍 shame the O'connor fight didn't come up in the convo :)
Agree with all the comments, great interview.
The mindset is what's interesting. Would that today's Broncos had that. All about the mindset. Gorden is so authentic. What's another word? Drive, maybe.
hey james poddy is awesome id love to see you get moz on
Love Gordy
hated him as a Saints fan mind, but he is the reason why i love rugby league 😊😊
The Ragin Bull! Uncompromising!!!
Tallis loves beer ,go the allgolds ❤️
James Graham has one of the biggest heads I’ve ever seen. That was until I saw him next to Gordy 😂😂
Tallis Is right. Nobody wanted to be a prop as a kid growing up. 🏉🏉💪💪
He gets bagged a lot but he's a very interesting intelligent human being..good on you gorden
Get yourself down to leigh Gordon there is a pub near the ground called the centurion if I'm in I'll buy you a beer
I believe Gordon's dad played for Leigh
Start singing Khumbya.... 😁😁😁
Ball runners🙄ain't many left ❤️no7 = half forward 💯🇳🇿❤️🇳🇿 Tallis and graham chatting 👌
Every NRL coach should do a philosophy course at University. Hard job managing 30 blokes
Jimmy can you get Willie mason on
Queenslander.
Of course, he's on NRL 360 but needs a far bigger role. In my humble opinion.
Queenslander 👏🏽👏🏽
same Bar, different Bloke.
Dolphins in good hands..
Sculthorpe is the one English player who should have gone to Australia but didn't.
