We go to P.F. Chang's twice a year. My daughter's birthday and sometimes on Christmas eve. I don't recommend Chang's if you aren't patient, don't like repeating yourself continuously and have an allergy to copious amounts of MSG and salt. Chang's service and food is full of all this. We are cutting back our visits to perhaps one every two years and if's still the same, not ever going back at all.
Chefs dont have to deal with guests like us servers/waiters, if their food comes out fucked up the chef still gets paid his usual wage but a unhappy guest will not tip shit if his diming experienced is not good.
Looks more like a Mexican restaurant than a Chinese restaurant.
This is true of many Asian restaurants in California.

But it can also be said that the chefs don't make tips when the food is great either.
