The singer bébé Rexha wrote the chorus to that song. It was originally a demo for her and she had her own verses to it. She ended up giving it to rihanna and Eminem wrote the verses for a totally different song and she was never really acknowledged by the public for it. When Em did Coachella he called her and asked her to come with him headline the show. He paid for her family to come and took care of all the arrangements so she performed that song with him at Coachella. At the end he hugged her and she told him " You're the coolest" to which he replied " I'm really not that cool"

You killed it as usual Knox, no need to be nervous! what I take from the ending is that Shady is locked up in the cage, as you said, and Em goes down to him from time to time and Shady throws him a little inspo here and there for some songs. You can see that Em keeps the piece of paper and puts it in his pocket. So even though he still allows Shady to make small appearances, he'll never let him completely loose again, and you can see he keeps his distance as well, Em doesn't go too close to the cage. But anyways, loved this video like always❤️

Awesome take there very true his alter ego went mayhem back then he learned from it and as you said he allows some of shadys words or lines to be in Em songs but not fully he will go maybe allow 50% or 75% ham as shady in big songs all battles from time to time these days, knox said in a few reactions where he said those shady lines

As a person with ocd this song was very important to me growing up, it was one of the first steps in not hating myself for my habits and intrusive thoughts, it taught me that I needed to be friends with the monsters in my head to survive, that fighting them would only lead to self hatred, pain and in the end my destruction. I am forever grateful for the music that helped me grow and become stronger, I know I would not be here today if not for that. Em will forever have a special place in my heart and my thanks

I always understood Rhianna's line "you're trying to save me, stop holding your breath" to have 2 meanings. It could mean that instead of saving me, you should be more concerned about saving yourself and just leave me alone. This line can also mean if you're trying to save me, we speak up and actually help instead of just staying quiet.
This works out great because the meaning could be to help me or it could be to not help me. Sometimes you want help from others and sometimes you just want to be left alone, so this covers both sides and you can decide whichever one you want.

I am on the other side of this bridge. Personally I don't have depression or anxiety or other mental issues. Songs like this helps me to understand and help my friends and family who struggle with those issues. Thank you, Knox, for making me love this song even more.

You explain it so well! Thank you! Eminem's music has helped me through a lot of bad times! Especially after my divorce....there was a marathon of his music videos on. I watched every single one! lol I laughed....cried ...went through so many different emotions. I had saved them on my DVR and just about drove my son crazy playing those non-stop! He said "mom I'm a fan of Em's but even I have a limit"! lol It did one thing I hadn't anticipated....it strengthened the bond between myself & my son. 😁 I have Eminem to Thank for that!

I just wish so badly Em would give us one last, full-on 1999-2002 era Slim Shady record. The video for the lead single should open by returning to this scene here from the Monster video, where we see the cage he was being kept is now broken open, and the armed guards who were watching him are unconscious.

depending on which camera you have you can get a "dummy battery" that plugs into usb power, that would prevent your camera from dying while filming. I have a camcorder that came with a usb power cable. I plugged it into a powered usb hub so it doesn't rely on battery power while recording. also I love this song, great reaction.

I gotta be honest, nothing hits like an Eminem and Riri song. The year I left my ex is the same year I discovered "Love the Way You Live." I was pregnant with my first and that song hits so close to home for so many reasons. The song that best describes my current relationship/marriage is "Reject" by GFBF, aka Tom and Nova.
This song is such an underrated masterpiece off of The Marshall Mathers LP II, which I think is an underrated album from Em's discography.

Figured I'd give a comment to your lighting comments. I'm a lighting designer by trade. I oft do depressing shows (typicly theater or dance). One of my all time favorite shots is the silhouette. Iether in a lightblue as we see there or a light red. Has a very powerful conveyance of emotions upon the audience member.
