I'd like Ricky's swing. He really tightened everything up, stopped laying it off so much. The tempo is just flowing right now. Love to see him win this thing
I played with him once, we are same class at osu, if he can putt, he is top 10 all time talent, and his headgame needs to be better, I was a +5 state champ and he made me quit golf, he is scary good, just needs to mental and the putter to work and he is world class. btw, that extendo grip was something i told him, counter balance your putter. lololol
@@MrHazz0 wow that's cool. Its a treat to play with a player on another level from you, humbling I am sure. I remember being at 2008 US Open where he'd qualified. I met his coach standing behind 7 tee and followed him for a few holes chatting him up about Rickie and his future. That conversation put him on my radar and I became a fan from that. Goodnight every par 4 500 yards most par 3s like 280 geez 10 under w a ridiculous # of birdies w2g Rickie that is some start and hopefully keeps it goin on the weekend. I am probably crazy but the greens seemed to surprise him today w how slow they were which is obviously not usually the case in the US Open.
Very impressive 68 in those conditions. I mean just look at JT shooting 81. A few offline shots here and there and you're screwed, so Rickie hanging tough with a 68 is really solid.

Also the only difference in his level of play here and Rory’s in 2011 is that no one touched Rory the whole time. Here Rickie has DOGS on his heels. This is going to be a US open for the ages.

While I like the idea, I think you made an error by letting it dictate what you should be doing at the start of the hole.
Play again, but have AI to select the shot at the point of play rather than at the beginning of the hole.

You're right. Those last three holes are too difficult for Tour Pros. Actually this is a great golf course with some really unique holes which are playing much tougher than they seem like they would. Tomorrow will be a different story as far as scoring. It is definitely worthy to be a u.s. Open golf course.

Geeez TBH i didn't give him good chance of winning the major this year (also not after 35) even tho he is one of the nicest tour players, down to the earth-not a surprise he made biggest chunk of money only with sponsors, didn't go to LIV (he would get 100mil+ i am sure). Anyways i have players i like more but just let him win his Major, and lets be it US Open 🫡
