Love seeing you still put out videos. I found you when I was in the hospital 7 years ago and your videos really helped me. I even donated to your in vitro campaign. So happy for you and your family!!!
Good job dad you have a great way of making things work. I like how you don't just give up...you come up with some unique ways of doing things. It's not how you do things its the idea that you get things done. Keep doing what your doing you are a true inspiration for the rest of us. Take care and have a wonderful day!!! ☺☺☺
Thanks Brian, T6 complete for almost 2 years, and hoping to one day have kids. Lots of your videos have helped me a lot when I was first paralyzed, nice to see new stuff from you and congrats on the baby-girl! :)
Thank you so much for sharing! I have a young niece and nephew, who are of kindergarten age and for a long time , I was so afraid to hold them when they were babies...they tend to move around and squirm a lot
Bryan I seen another lady she used a harness made for her little girl and pretty much pics her up with the strap on the harness. Also I can imagine that placing a "leash" on the harness would be ideal. I had something like that when mine was little- in specially in the stores- mine hid from me under a clothing rack once and thought it was a game not to answer mommy- panicky mommy! So she went on a leash thereafter :-) You have a beautiful family :-) God bless
Tracey Palmer Hi!! I too modified a harness to pick her up with one arm but she hated wearing it so that’s when I found this way of doing it. Now she’s stable on her feet so I can pick her up with both arms supported on my knees. (Vid to come) And I agree 100% with the leash!! We have a “backpack” that has a harness with a leash so I’m interested to see how that works. With the whole COVID thing, we haven’t had her in a public place to try it out but she likes pretending it’s a backpack for school so I’m hopeful it will work. Thanks for the support!!
@@ParalyzedLiving Hi Brian, you have a nice beautiful daughter and your wonderful family. God bless you. Hope you have a wonderful day. Best regards, from, PaulLaw.
Hi Brian, glad to see you doing well. She has really grown. I am happy for you both. Just thinking, do you have darker days where you struggle to come to terms with your injury? You're innovative & adaptive but i wonder if there is another side to it. Hope you're well. Many thanks.
Hi, Brian. I just found out about your videos. I have a question, are you planning to do any further mods to your home since your kid is already crawling and about to start walking? Perhaps something to avoid risks for her, like storage of cleaning products or something like that. I like how you’ve customized different parts of your house, and curious of how it might work with a child. Congrats about your baby!
Love the video. How do you move around with her on your lap? You would have to hold on to her with one arm, just how does that work? My grandson is 11 months old. I get him in and out of the pac n play exactly as you demonstrated. Take good care!
Nancy Martin I usually use the one arm at a time method around the house but I made a “seat belt” for when we are out. Here’s a video. th-cam.com/video/ethBRV7BI7A/w-d-xo.html

If i try to pick my niece up or anything else that’s in front of me my chair tips forward to easily. Do you know how i can fix this issue with my chair?
Ashley G hey! Is your rear axle (center of gravity) really far forward? My initial thought is to move your axle back making the chair less “tippy.” It’s helped a ton for me and even made making wheelies over obstacles much more manageable.
Hi Brian It seems TH-cam stopped private messages on it's site unless it's connected to Google maybe this is why i'm not finding the option to message you...Thanks
Thank you for sharing this video i'm a disabled guy too and you're giving me an idea of how parenting in my condition would be like
