Awesome settings i dont use any smoothness either. Idk if some simagic owners realize just how little frequnecy noises and how smooth the wheelbase is when pushing so much details compared to other wheelbases. Ive tried so many now the most surprising part is how much more silent it is and how smooth when pushing so hard. So guys simagic owners if yoy hear things or feel things just know compared to other brands it's very very little in comparison when it comes to grain/frequency noise or feeling etc. So enjoy and have fun! Awesome video per usual. Great settings video!
I've been an Alpha user for the past 6 months and got myself pretty familiar with those settings by now. I would recommend to watch the official explanation video on the Simagic channel, which gives some more insight, but might leave you with more questions after watching it :P It's also worth noting, that Feedback Detail is actually 2 diiferent scales (0-9 old algorithm and 10-20 new algorithm), wish Simagic made it more obvious in the UI. As for Feedback Frequency, according to Simagic vid, higher values give the wheel more rubbery feeling, which might help you feel the tyres more, which is true for me, especially with GT cars. I like cranking that up to 7-9 depends on the car and really like the feeling. As a final note to all Simagic users, I'd say this: Don't just rely on settings from other users or base presets and don't be afraid to tweak those dials. One setting at a time + testing will make you know the base really well to a point, where you'll know what to tweak whenever you're in a new car or sim.
Hey man, I appreciate the mention! (It's Chris6068, but I ended up being the 69th like on the video, so it all worked out in the end LOL!) Funny thing, in my own messing around over the last 2 nights since setting it up, I actually ended up on extremely similar settings to where you're at. FFB 100%, Smoothness is still between 0 and 1, can't decide, WRS is at 90, Feedback Detail I've been trying at both 0 and 20, trying to pick out the nuances of the differences between them.. Max Torque I started at 9.0N-m, but quickly just decided to crank it up to 23 and just turned down the in-game FFB to compensate. Mech. Damper is at 5%, Mech. Friction is at 20%, Mech. Inertia I'm still messing around with, but was testing with it at 50% last night and was enjoying it. Feedback Frequency is at 0, I'm guessing it's unnecessary with the 360Hz iRacing update, but have no prior experience, so am still learning. I haven't even tried turning that feature on, as of yet. Once again, super appreciative of you taking the time to make this content and break-down some of these things! I actually just realized you have a Discord link in your description as well, I'll be joining over there! I'm admittedly a lot better with understanding the reasons a real car feels certain ways over picking out what I like in a sim/game environment lol
Thanks for the update! I’m rocking 80 on mechanical inertia and I love it. Keep up the good work and have a great time with Christmas around the block. 🎉
I have kinda similar settings after a few months with iracing. I just have feedback frequency on 3 for that scrubbing feeling with the tires. And i have game inertia and spring on 200.
I've been rocking the G29 for a few years now, looking forward to the day I can afford an AlphaU. The Simagic propaganda on this channel has successfully done its work on me. Great and informative video!

I respect someone that doesn’t use any smoothness. I set mine to two.

Thanks for the kids recommendation ;)

Would you recommend these settings on an Alpha mini?
I have a video about this on my channel :)
Can you share your alpha mini settings that you settled with after a few years
Do you think these settings carry over to alpha? As a base place to start
@@ericmartens2322 I'd say so tbh :)
I have Alpha 15nm and I like to max out force feedback, max toque and wheel speed, mech friction I use 3 and all the rest 0.
