I'll give them credit where it's due

But this is legitimately a great thing they've done here

As a technical writer and someone familiar with book printing, NZXT have gone above and beyond with this manual. Just the fact that all of it is printed in color says a lot. All the extra illustrations that are just there to make you feel better about your experience are also great even though they could have easily skipped those to save money and no one would have complained. Now that they have this, they can easily use it as a base and make manuals for other builds much quicker or just make it a bit more general and sell it as a manual for how to build any PC. Of course, they'll probably keep it exclusive to their kits since that's a clear competitive advantage. Awesome stuff!

What I love about this “build kit” system is the fact that you get everything you need to build a pc, an insane manual, 24/7 customer support, windows 10 and a 2-year warranty, and an affordable gpu with everything else compatible ($3-400 to build it yourself right now rather than buy the kit)
I’d love to see them keep this system because it helps people like me who don’t know that much about building a pc or how to install anything.

I know the price of this is pretty expensive, but still, this is a great kit for those that want to learn but are too scared to try to build their own PC. Plus, you have one contact for warranty issues: NZXT. So that's probably worth the price of admission whereas those of us that build using hand-picked parts from Microcenter, NewEgg, etc, we are at the mercy of each part's manufacturer. So bravo to NXZT for this kit.

As someone with an incredibly outdated PC, and as someone that's been considering buying a prebuilt from NZXT, I love that they've come out with this. I've never built a PC myself before because it's always seemed so intimidating. Being responsible for building my own rig sounds terrifying. But honestly, as cringe as the whole treasure hunt adventure may be to some, seeing the way they've laid out the guidebook has definitely made it seem more lighthearted and fun.
Plus the anxiety of having a prebuilt being damaged during shipping is essentially gone. So I'm definitely considering biting the bullet and buying this at some point.

As someone who's built several PCs over the years, I can assure you that it is NOT as hard as you think it is. This is DEFINITELY something you can do. Expect to spend about an afternoon working on it. If you buy this kit and use a little bit of common sense, you'll have absolutely no problem. I love the way the book is laid out and while I agree with most of his minor criticisms, they are in fact minor. You should have no trouble at all putting that thing together. You CAN do it!

Personally the first troubleshooting step I'd do once the case is open is check that the front panel connectors are plugged in, always found those to be quite flimsy and easy to accidentally unplug while working on other parts.

I have a 6 year old NZXT Phantom case and I think other than the molex power connectors (which you can chop off) it's a great case. has 3 drive bays behind a door and 6 hard drive bays, neither need screws unless you're mounting a hard drive.
not bad and honestly I like their old designs better than their newer ones because the new ones are so boring.

This kit would be a lot better if they only supplied the H510 Flow with it, I feel like a lot of users are gonna be in for a shock when they see how much of a hotbox the original is. Hopefully it's possible to buy the mesh front panel for it separately so that people can fix that without having to move their build to another case, or be stuck using it with the side panel off, something that's not an option for everyone as people have pets and kids which can't be trusted near an open PC chassis

@@edmundojosezuazuachapa1612 And? The 3060ti is a totally capable gaming card. I fail to understand what the point of stating that is. The kit is customizable dude, they just sent 3060tis out because it's more affordable and there's probably enough volume of them that they can get enough to send out review samples with their kit, nothing more. There's already been several versions of this kit reviewed by others besides kyle
