The good news is you can still play with no armor all the way to masters. The crazy part is there is zero reason to rat now since you will rank up faster if you don't, even if you die off drop pretty consistently
I might suck at Apex at times, but I'm glad I never needed to rat to hit masters. Can't wait for this fuse ult/trident glitch to get fixed, they're just giving rats tools now

Haters hear me out. After 13 Seasons of grinding and playing Ranked Apex, carrying bots and pseudo preds (who die in 30 sec of the match) - S17 is something: New! Something amazing! Which takes good rat skills by the way and Knowledge. Atlest this season i chill, hf and laugh off people running legaly blind past me!
they have needed to strike a balance to kill farmers for a while. I prefer the current season (minus the "hidden" matchmaking system) to the hot drop -> get 2 kills drop to lobby meta of previous seasons.

TBH I think ratting and playing the game the way people do right now is way worse than cheating, its a crime. Like this is Apex, the perfect Template for a fast and action packed Shooter, yet these people feel the need to be boring for a fucking digital Badge. Its truly depressing and I think all of these players should get banned for no reason. They should never be allowed to play the game again.
My EA ID got perma banned because I raged about a rat teammate who just sat in a tree the whole time and absolutely did 0 dmg and got 3rd place And when I called him out in the chat by saying "you ducking rat" EA perma banned me Nice game EA Even better player base Coming from a Master ranked player who used to love Apex
And that is the entire problem. there isn't a good balancing posistion for a BR when taking ranked into consideration. Wins should matter the most, but the only way to win is to be alive at the end. I would propose an "ANTI-Rat" system that randomly teleports players that have been immobile for longer than 60 seconds. (say within a space of 1-2 meters?) no more rats. just different complaints.
