- Agrobacterium is a plant pathogen found in soil. It infects plants and causes crown gall disease. This is because Agrobacterium carries a special Ti plasmid, on which are genes located for tumor formation. Agrobacterium transfers the T-DNA present on Ti plasmid inside plant cells, wherein it gets integrated into the plant DNA. Enjoy this video for quick learning and an overview of the process. Happy Learning !!
