The rivarly of Mitch and Tom will be legendary.
Maybe Im an asshole, but I can't stand Mitch. All about money.
@@TheEvilWithinKevinwhy not?
it will mirror Big Z and Shaw
I feel like tom has way more potential, he is just naturally bigger
@@TheEvilWithinKevin sure that's why Eddie did it too...money.
The Eddie and Luke interview was golden.
7:45 love to see Mitchell’s response to adversity here, that mentality shows what makes him a true champion whether he wins or not. Congrats to Tom 👏👏
Lose gracefully and learn.💪🫡 true athlete and strongman.💪💪💪💪💪
For real, the guy has all the makings of a larger than life figure who’ll be remembered for elevating the sport.
I can't get the hate towards mitch, people say he's arrogant, I can't see what people are seeing..
He's confident in himself not arrogant. Definitely a great strongman. Looking forward to seeing him dominate again in the future. Well played to Tom. These guys will have many wars to come.
@@busabros2480Hes just very wholesome with his "be the kindest guy in the gym" etc. I guess some people take this as a "holier than thou" attitude, which isnt the case.
Yes Tom, 3 time world's strongest man and joining the elites who have won 3 or more!!!
Yes, and that's a pretty small club!
He is only 29 too, plenty of time to win 3 more
@ronnana694 The only thing that will stop Tom, I can see is having a child. 1st 2-3 years may change his outlook on life, knowing what he's putting his body through.
@@beany1987 true, 30-35 is prime strongman years tho
Only problem is that it's not as impressive without prime Shaw, Eddie, Zydrunas, Hafthor, etc
Big props to Hoath, Derwinsky and Andrade. Not common place names like the others yet, but they really showed out.
I think we can say they made their names commonplace with this performance though, they showed they belong with the best making the finals as up n comers
Definitely going to be interesting next year IF Kieliszkowski, Novikov and Licis will be back without any injuries. But that is a big IF. And also IF Hafthor wouldn't boycot WSM anymore which isn't likely going to happen anyway.
@@R.James. Well said, i agree.
We will know these guys well in a short time if they keepnat it. Very good showings all around
The respect from Eddie to Tom put a tear in my eye. Well played mate.
Big respect to Mitch always doing interviews in between the events too! This isn’t me making a point about anyone else, especially Tom, but it’s great that Mitch gives his time like that. Can tell you do really appreciate it too Eddie 👍
Mitch did say that he would never be too small or too big to not take time to talk to somebody. He's definitely gonna be big haha
Tom stoltman is a legend 3x WSM and his brother Luke seems like the nicest man in the world 🌎
I know you didn't mean it, but that sounded like the most subtle yet lowest blow to Luke 😂
And its cool because there Scottish
@@omega9640 If it wasn't for Luke, then Tom wouldn't be where he is today. Helping your little bro achieve what he has is something to cherish for life. Fair play to him. Great role model and ambassador for the sport too.
I'd love to see Luke win WSM once. That would be the icing on the cake of the strongest brothers in the world
@@glennjanot8128 That would be class, don't see it happening though sadly
Tom vs Hooper will be the new Big Z vs Shaw. One class above everybody else this WSM, glad to have them both. The greatest strongmen of my generation.
Props to Hooper for admitting that his injury happened because his grip was not perfect, instead of blaming it on bad luck. He also admitted it in a video in his channel. He said "if my hands were stronger this wouldnt have been a problem". I am sure he will improve it and not let this happen again.
Wow that thumbnail gave nothing away, I wonder who won?? 🙄😂😂😂😂😂
Shut up Karen
Pavlo Smaukstelis of course
@@hgbbccchcccvvb8226 ahh I thought it was Matt Singleton
😂😂😂😂😂 I thought it was Loz.
I thought Eddie won it
Tom and Hooper both did amazing. Totally loved this year!
Great interview with Luke, Eddie
I think we’ve got about 5 years ahead of us with Tom and Mitch battling for first place. I love them both, man. Sucks to see Mitch’s hands fall apart like that, but well done to Tom for improving so much.
You never know what will happen. A few years ago, everyone was saying Licis Vs Kieliszkowski would be the big rivalry. Both got badly injured and faded away. Novikov too. It's a brutal sport. I hope Stoltman and Hooper stay healthy so they can keep the rivalry going.
@@thecruellestmonth puts into perspective how incredible the longevity of Big Z and especially Brian
Love how Luke comes in to just have fun and has such a positive attitude (not to say he doesn't want to win or doesn't do his best). He is so supportive of his brother and behind him every step of the way! An amazing soul and individual all around!
Tom stoltman now a scottish legend done us proud Tom the country's proud of you alba gu brath
A true Scottish legend no doubt. I'm English and a big fan of the big man. Luke too is a class act
Man I love the Mitch vs Tom rivalry we're getting. Both absolute beasts in their own way and both just fantastic people. Having either one of them win is just awesome
Agreed. They both seem like genuinely good human beings first and foremost, so as a fan I just want them to both stay healthy and bring the best out of each other.
Thanks for sharing Eddie
Congratulations to big Tom. Absolute legend 🌶🌶💙
I love how humble and honest Mitch was during these interviews. What a great guy! Keep pushing man. Congrats to the albatross Tom Stoltman for winning! He’s truly one of the best strongman of all time!!!
Well done Tom, one proud Scotsman. Think when Mitch said he thought only he could win and no one but him had won big show in two years he forgot tom won the world's 2 years ago. Could see how focused Tom was and no one was beating him.
Coming into the competition, I too expected the Moose to prevail. Props to Tom - He let his performance do the talking. He obviously put in the work. Well done.
Fair play to Tom he worked really hard this last year on his weaknesses, huge improvement on Deadlift, Conan wheel and Axil press
Mitchell said himself before that it was between him and Tom.
@@jameswyatt4443 Yep Mitch always said he thought Tom was the only guy that could beat him.
Tom's massive frame and huge bone structure are so important to his durability in such an injury prone activity, impressive as usual, Props to Eddy for brilliant analysis and interesting insights into the mental aspects of this highly competitive sport, WSM should hire Eddy to be its spokesperson slash ambassador as his dialogue is at times comical but always on point due to obvious personal knowledge. Cheers
Thanks for the great commentary. Entertaining and excellently informative.
Appreciate you,
Congrats to Evan for making podium
So pumped for that guy, he really showed up mentally prepared
Evan is a force! Intense . Knows how to turn it on and off.
So proud as a fellow Scotsman for Tom. Congratulations. Also credit where credit is due to yourself Eddie for the coverage - great job!
Tom is gunna be a force for many years to come
Crazy to think he's only 29. His best years are still to come!
@@SPACYtunesno I think he is in his best years now
@@Julian-mk7hd Men don't usually hit their athletic prime until their early-mid 30s. Why do you believe he's not going to get better?
Your coverage has been the best by a mile! Thank you!
Great to see the interviews, thanks for doing them.
Big tommy, making history.... not only is he the only scotsman to ever win wsm he has won 3 times at only 29yo ....the north is proud of ya loon.....also a well dine to luke he had a good show and well done to rest of the competitors 🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴
🏴🏴🏴
He legitimately does have a shot at 6 titles at the rate he is going. He just needs to hold off Mitch three more times.
The south is proud as well
Well done Big Tommy.
Fair play to Mitchell Hooper, what a great attitude to have despite his result, would be easy for him to blame his hands & make excuses but the way he’s reacted is superb & a credit to him.
And well done to Luke, I’m sure the support & being there for Tom has helped him grow as a person & Luke has done himself proud too.
He'd be fully justfied in blaming his hands though. I agree his attitude is great, but his injury obviously stopped him from performing at his peak.
As always your behind the scenes posts are GOLD! Thanks for sharing your experiences and making this real for the fans
So glad Tom won 💪🏾
Loving the coverage Eddy 👏
Absolutely awesome from Tom 💪🏴
Thank you for your coverage Beast!!! Appreciate you!
Great coverage and fantastic interviews!
SCOTLAND 🏴
Felt bad for Mitch after deadlifts but let's be real there is no hype that could have carried him to victory over Tom on the stones
Thanks for your coverage of WSM ❤💪
Thanks for the coverage!!
So much respect for mitchs mindset
Tom Stoltman dominating as I expected man. Big boy at 6’8”.
Thanks for the coverage! Loved the interviews with the athletes! World class job!
Thanks againn eddie love the videos your pumping out.
Love the interview with Luke!
Best thumbnail 🤣
Thanks for the real-time On-Site interviews and event results...! It's the next best thing to attending the show in person...! Mitch will learn and recover, so that next year, he will be UNSTOPPABLE...!
Thanks for reporting!
Little surprised I thought Mitchel would win this when I saw the events but big Tom has gotten so well rounded he dosent have many weaknesses. Think it would have been a little closer if Mitchel didn’t skin his hands in the first event at the final. Congrats to big tom though the guy is an absolute beast and a real gentle giant.
Pretty obvious those hand injuries messed Hooper up, but it's still nice to have a rivalry like this between two cool dudes.
@@hannibalb8276 yeah this could be one of the most epic rivalries the sport has ever had. And they’re both still in their 20s. It’s crasy
His hands definitely hindered his performance. Mitch is one incredibly tough dude for fighting through.
He wouldve won but i fear now Tom will not be beaten for a while.
Yea, but don't forget the whole controversial leaked conversation about worlds and them wanting to "help out" the Stoltmans. Not taking anything away from him, he clearly is one of the strongest, just saying
Yesssss Eddie is a beast with these videos ❤
Awesome video. The interview at the end with Tom was so genuine.
Thank you sir. You bring a unique perspective that many just couldn't deliver. Much appreciated.
These videos were absolutely amazing, thank you eddie
💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Get in big Tam!! Back where you belong mate🏴🏴🏴
Good for Mitch! That’s the attitude we need in this world. Well done sir. You lead by example and should be very proud !
Kudos tom. Thanks for updates beast
congrats to Tom. so awesome. Tom looks huge standing next to Eddie. thanks for posting Eddie
Lets GOOO
Great coverage Eddie!!! Hope you can do it every year
Love these videos fra WSM. Keep it up Eddy, you are a good ambassador for the sport and the strongmen!
Yoo Eddie you're doing great as commenter! You and Loz should team up as the wellspoken and knowledgeable power duo commentors!
Well done big Tommy 🌶🌶🌶 🏆💪
Thank you for this this was much needed since they don’t live stream
Great work! Congrats
Well done big Tom done Scotland proud again 👏
Well done Tom
Great video and interviews
18:34 ......unless youve met Eddie in real life and realised how solid and in shape he is and taller than he looks on TV , its hard to comprehend the physical presence Tom has making eddie look like a little guy ....im 6ft and 250lbs and eddie made me look how Tom makes him look here ,absolutely ridiculous genetics
He's getting up there, in the lineup he has clearly the best genetic potential for strongman. But there is still potentially a level above in the human genepool, if we humans can find someone heavy set in a natural height 7'5 -7'7 range with a healthy heart and strong ligaments and training since his mid teens... I believe that unicorn is the theoretical max strongman. What a guy like that could is something we can only imagine. 600kg deadlift? But this is so close to the end of the bell curve that the guy might not even exist!
about genetics, consider that his brother is 39 years old and still competing at the highest levels (just won the European title). Crazy genetics, for sure.
@@Zepherian so rare to find a heavy set guy in the 7s without impairments. I reckon the best bet is someone like shaq or paul wight (big show) training from a young age. People at 7’5+ seem to be either bean poles or crippled
Thanks again Eddie! Hope you come to The Shaw Classic too
Thank you so much for doing these videos amazing 👏
Thanks for sharing Eddie.
The best WSM coverage!
BIG TOM!🏴BRILLIANT
KNEW HE'D BRING IT HOME AGAIN! TO THE LAND OF THE CELTS!
LETS NOT FORGET BIG BROTHER LUKEY..GREAT EFFORT 9TH PLACE AND THE ANCHOR THAT HELPS GET TOM TO WHERE HE IS!💛
🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻
Tom a real life living legend what we are watching is history 3 times champion at 29 the goat 🐐 🌶️
Actually hooper is still better. If it wasn't for the injury he would have won.
Congrats to Tom tho
@@MC-ep8cu how would he of won lol he was 3 points ahead anyway and mitchel wouldn’t of done 5 quicker
@@MC-ep8cu stay salty, we'll stay spicy.
@@MC-ep8cuload of rubbish.
@@MufcGgmu38 Without those injuries Hooper absolutely would have done better
Video format is fire
Thanks for your content. It added to the flavor of the watch parties I did as well.
Massive congrats to Tom. I feel like Mitch would've taken it had his hands not slipped and torn his calluses on event 1 but that's strongman
Mitch Hooper, 100% Respect - Lift Heavy Be Kind - Living his motto. The next generations Brian Shaw, and we support you on the next competition. Congrats to Tom, and nice job Evan. All the best
Yaas for big Tom 🌶🌶🌶 great coverage getting those interviews, Legend
Cheers for the coverage Eddie, sucks that wsm isn't widely broadcast. Class for Tom bringing the title home again 🏴, sucks for Mitchell hooper but hoping he can recover as he's a fantastic athlete and strongman too
That's 3 for Tom Stoltman. Now the question becomes: how many does he win? 5? 6? Unless he retires, it's entirely possible.
No way, hoopers got the next 2
He's only 29 and continually getting better
Absolute legend
Really happy for Tom, he deserves the win, but at the same time I can't help but think that the outcome would be different if Hooper didn't rekk his hands on the first event, but it's how it goes in WSM as they say!
@@joeycurtis1872 hooper younger and been more dominant last 2 years
Tom is a legend there are many more wins in him! Time for someone to take Mariusz off the number one spot!
I would say Big Z and Brian Shaw were still stronger than Mariusz to be honest.
Awesomeness congratulations TOM
Great coverage Edward
I feel bad for Mitch. He probably would have won if he wasn't injured. It didn't go his way this time but I think he's still the best out of everyone. Respect to Tom though, he killed it
Unfortunete hooper had that injury! Lets go moose!
Thanks for all the coverage ed.
It was never in doubt, well done big fella👏👏👏🏴
Great coverage Eddie, much appreciated. 👍
Best coverage 🙏
Great content
Great Video
Amazing coverage of the event
Well done big Tom outstanding.
Love the chat with luke about autism. Really lovely and well explained 👏 👍
Cheers, nice work. So happy for Tom. Fair play to Mitch, they were so far ahead of the rest of the field.
brilliant stuff
Congratulations champ
You're really good at being a "commentator" and interviewer mate. Keep it up. 👍🍻 cheers from Sweden.
Suuuuuch good interviews and BTS. Really love the vids, Eddie!
Great interview and humility from Mitch. Very cool. Congrats to all the phenomenal athletes... 💪
