nice battle report, i love these videos. Just one thing i notice, if you're playing with the last faq they added the special rule for the master of laketown that says he must be always the leader, correct me if i'm grong.
I only think it would be fair if the players will take a rematch. Duo to FAQ master is the leader and both the players would have played completely differently if they knew that. And I'm also supervised nobody acknowledged that so far. Give as a rematch between these 2 with different scenario and the audience will be satisfied.
Not that much, tbh.
The easterling had like 1 chance to kill bard the whole time (which was more like an attempt to survive from the legolas/bard killing duo), while the master just flew from the battlefield.
We could say that they could have played slightly different the last part of the game, but not that much to make it that different.
I'm still with the "rematch" option.
Are you sure that is a rule? I looked in army's of the hobbit and in the FAQs and didn't anything like that.

Wait, but Master of LakeTown has to be the leader, so it should be tie 4-4 after he flew the battle. Also amdur had d7 at first shooting phase, but it doesnt change much up to there

Great battle report thank you so much! Quick question: was this pre FAQ? Because I thought that the master HAD to be the leader of the Lake Town army and, him fleeing the battlefield, this would have been a draw.

Wasn’t pre faq- I didn’t know they changed the Master. With that rule, I’d prefer to just play 50 points down! I’ll let Jacob decide what to do with the result. ~Jeremy
@@greendragonpodcast2362wouldn’t it be fair to allow slight adjustment to the list if you don’t want to take the master. Maybe just add a captain? It was the first game of the series after all. It wouldn’t affect any previous matches
@@greendragonpodcast2362 without the master, fight 3 without banner, just play something else at this point. However it’s a well deserved nerf, you just have to play around it

Turn 9, he had to charge those model becausee of control zones. For turn 10, I have no idea seems wrong. As for Tauriel, I noticed a bit of that too.

If possible: Have colorful dices for each side (e.g. green for good, red for evil). This way, when you film the dice throwing, us the viewer can immediately SEE who won the dice roll instead of HEARING it with a latency from you 🙃
The struggle is that will very much slow down the games. They often use as many as 4 different colors to represent different attackers, and that's per side
Another great video, production value has stepped up notably of late. It’d be good to see some kind of battlefield snapshot at the end of each turn, perhaps during your turn number slides. Often quite hard to tell what’s going on across the battlefield outside of the main combats. Could be an aerial photo highlighting where each side’s models are?
One thing I find myself consistently surprised by in MESBG compared to other games I play is just how close the game can be. I thought with Amdur losing his horse in the first round of shooting, and then Rutabi being trapped, that the Easterlings were pretty much doomed from the start. I do think there was a mistake (several others have pointed it out) - Master of Lake-Town has to be the leader, which means both sides lost their leader. I agree that a rematch should be held!!!
On another note, I love the new icons (clearly highlighting where heroic actions were being called), I would have loved for some overhead shots or even a simple graphic of where everything was in relation to the rest of the battlefield. For example, I knew some units were getting close to the camp but I couldn't tell how far they were (apparently, just too far).
Best game so far of the tournament IMO. All those models look amazing but those Easterlings are beautiful.

That shooting in the first turn was just too damn lucky. Kudos to the easterling player for still going strong after being incredibly unlucky

The scenario should give points for being closer to the opponents camp. Say more models in their board half. Doesn’t reward the aggressor so shooty armies can sit back
I agree. I feel like there should be points for having any models in your opponent's camp if your opponent has none in yours.

He just slightly adjusted them into the models directly next to them

Great video as always! I love you Channel, I think that you and Zorpazorp are ones of the best channel of MSBG on TH-cam! Thanks to both of you I start again playing the game after 15 years (I start with the first modeling when the movies comes out); and I also buy your 3D print terrain! They are fantastic!
I'm just sorry that in Italy there is almost no passion for MSBG and it's practically impossible to play unless you involve some friends who are passionate about modeling.
I hope to see a rematch but if it is too much of a hassle i can live with the result.
I might be on a minor side, for me, a win is a win. Both players didnt know the rule and didn't play the rule and its a fair game. Jeremy didnt know this rule while building his army as well.
So will this be replayed or what? Seems fair imo

@@ConquestCreationsBard and Legolas not moving after killing Rutabi, the arrow that killed Amdurs horse only rolled one in the way instead of the two it rolled before, Tauriel was trapped, she backed wrong
@@ConquestCreations6:40 Amdurs horse should of been defence 6 due to the gleaming horde rule, so the 5 wasn’t enough to kill the horse 😅
