Well, here we go! Another Floowandereeze deck profile updated for the new format! For anyone new out there, we are going pretty in depth, but if you want more, make sure to check out the Floowandereeze playlist on the channel!

I was waiting for this update for AGES, you're like a master to me ♡. I was wondering tho, why imperm instead of book of moon? It's because with this list you want to go 2nd in game one?

And more or less yeah, but there's a little extra. Book of Moon and Imperm both serve kind of similar purposes if you go first, set it, blank something and go from there. I prefer the Hard Stop imperm has on an effect tho, so like, Book of Moon removes a monster as a future usuable material (unless it's fusion), Imperm prevents whatever it was trying to do from resolving
But also yeah, the Turn 0 utility of Imperm is really nice, plus I love me a good column negate!
Thoughts on playing a similar list, but still opting first in game 1? my locals has a lot of decks that generate so much advantage going first like branded and mathmech, and I kinda dont want to let them go first if I dont have to.
You absolutely could. This list can go first as is if you wanted/got forced too, but if you did want to go first by default, I'd probably swap the evenlys in main out for feather storms. I'd keep the DRNMs tho, in case of a lost die roll.
Great & awesome deck profile on Floowandereeze for this format. I'm super hyped to try it out on locals! I think this format the birds will soar very high.

Awesome video man. I just got all my cards for my Floo deck build. I don't really play in locals, I mainly play against my friends (Labrynth, Swordsoul, Dinomorphia, Dark World and Branded Shaddoll). Currently don't have the money to buy Thrust or Prosperity. Based on this info could you give me some constructive criticism on the build I'm using?

Cards I'm debating on adding in: I have 2x Dark Simorgh, 3x Denko Sekka, 2x Harpie's Feather Storm, 1x Harpie's Harpist, 1x Rivalry of Warlords (for Kaiju/Lava Golem protection), 3x Vanity's Fiend (to prevent special summons). I also have 3x Evenly Matched and Infinite Imperm I use in my Traptrix deck that I could bring over

Hey! Ok so, if you are on D Shifter, I'd consider siding the Ghost Ogres. Droll is strong enough that the conflict w Shifter is worth it, but as good as Ogre is, I think you can do without it in the main.
I actually really don't like Morganite personally (I have a video in the works about that), but that's just my opinion! I would triple up on Extrav, maybe consider Jack in the Hand (I don't really like it personally either) if you feel you still need more consistency if you take out the Morganites.
I'd also double up or remove book of moon, one just doesn't feel worth it, but 2 would be!
So far as everything else, I would side the Denkos over maining them. As far as Dark Simorgh, I'd do either him or Denko, not both. Denko is stronger by itself, but Simrogh is searchable, so kind of the trade off there.
Absolutely side 3 Feather Storm, it's amazing going 1st.
I'd consider maining Imperm as well. Generically good, and doesnt conflict with shifter.
I don't think we really need Vanity Fiend in here. It's not searchable, and you have a lot of other tools to make it hard to play, same with the Rivalry, plus Kaiju's don't hurt us tooooo much, since Empen is very easy to re-summon via Toccan and Stri.

Thanks for the video! I'm a pretty new Floo player and this was really helpful. You briefly mentioned it in the video, but could you talk more on why you decided to build the deck for going second? In my (little) experience I've had trouble getting the deck going when facing opponent's interruption.
For sure! So I like going 2nd because I always had issues with losing the die roll in game 1. Going 1st was great, but 2nd was rough. Building to go 2nd, we get access to stuff like DRNM, Evenly, etc. Imperm is great and flexible as well, and can be the difference between a single interaction and several! Unexplored Winds is also wild for helping crack boards too! And I like drawing 6 cards to open too haha
I have nationals today in Italy, 4 hours left to sleep and I cannot sleep but I watch deckprofiles of the best deck and been following your channel for a long time. So…. You go second with this deck? Why? I play at 40 , without HFD and with 2 books of moon and 1 Calledbythegrave instead of imperm, which I found to be worse than BookOfMoon in a lot of situation. When going second, how do you deal with kashtira locking you or banishing fd important pieces? Also… apex is once per chain, not like you said in the video. Unfortunatey he has an errata😢
Also, when do you decide to go first? I noticed going first i brick/get interrupted a lot, but when going second I usually win, but sometimes just losing the diceroll is bad and you don’t draw the out to certain boards that you would have won otherwise. Like SHS for example. If you setup empen you won the game, but if they go first Darkruler evenly is not enough😢
Quickly replying, I'll answer the rest of the questions later, but sorry, I meant you can negate, then resummon Apex on the same chain, not that he can negate twice!

@@OctyPFI Ok so! first, sorry, you left a very long comment on my other video that I never circled back to fully responding to, but I will address it in another Flo V Kash replay!
To your point here, so far as the Kash matchup, I try to go 1st game 2 or 3, depending on if I win or lose R1. Kash tends to have a hard time doing a major lock even through one imperm unless they open EVERYTHING, which I mean, there's only so much you can do.
In general, I like going 2nd game 1 for Flo because I feel like it suffers a lot when it's optimized to go first but you lose the die roll. Building to blind 2nd game 1 lets me more or less be playing game 1 how my deck is intended to play, then I can decide what to do from these. I don't think it's better than first or worse, I just think it's a deck that you have the option to do either with and I personally prefer to go 2nd, plus the 6th card is very nice too! Again, best of luck at Nats!!
Love this deck list and you are the one who really taught me how to play this deck! Do you have any budget option suggestions for things like pot of prosperity and some of the other more expensive cards?. Hoping to trade for them eventually but until then

So far as budget stuff, Extrav can slot in for Prospy, but if you're missing anything, I'd try to trade up to Prospey first before TTT. TTT you can just 3x up on DRNM and Evenly if you like going 2nd, or 3x on Feather Storm if you want a go first build!
As far as Snowl, I did a whole section on her on my hot takes video, but the short version is there's nothing bad about her, I just don't think you need her and I don't personally play her as a means of streamlining the deck!
Not much of an expert, although I've seen a few people recommending Snowl (both once at my locals and online), and I've since been playing it: it's actually really good in my low-level experience since you force your opponent to take into account the Book of Eclipse effect during their turn, either because they won't be able to strike at battle phase, or because you can prevent them for activating effects/summoning XYZ and such in the middle of their combo (they summon something, you book of moon it, if its effects has to be declared and isn't a trigger, it's not possible anymore). Also the 3 additional normal summons can lead to interesting board tearing if you want to summon Raiza several times during your turn... or with Unexplored Winds.
The negative part is that most of the time, its piercing defense effect isn't that useful since most big wall have huge stats, so less useful than Empen in this case, but I still managed to get some damage in against tokens with 0 def for example. And well, it's not the most useful of the big birbs.

No worries! I'm gonna put out a video giving an in depth breakdown on why I don't like it for Flo, which should be live next week! The short answer is tho, we don't need it for this deck, it's VERY win more, and does nothing to boost our turn one

have you tried harpies dancer? it had some funny plays with unexplored winds by summoning empen multiple times or putting avion back on the field.
I like it in concept, I think in practice it's a bit win more though
So for a going first build other than running the three Harpies and two Solemn what would you take out of the mine to side and what other cards would you suggest for a going first build?
So that entirely depends on the matchup. Sprite I like to bring in the E Cons. Anything backrow heavy the cosmics and possibly Denko come in. If it's a matchup where Droll is really strong I might double those in with Shifer or over it

I have a video about why I don't like Morganite coming up, but (and sorry I forget what video it was) I left a pretty long explination as to why.
Double Winds I just don't think is needed, but you could side a 2nd for the mirror
In any sort of follow up video I'd love to hear your opinions on Morganite, Snowl, as well as running one more copy of Raiza, Empen, Toccan, Stri, Unexplored Winds, and Dreaming Town. I have also seen some builds even siding one copy of Scary Sea and would love to hear you opinions about that too.
As a newer player and new Floo player I do not quite understand the details of the number counts as well as what is useful at certain ratios. Overall I have absolutely learned so much about the deck and the game from you profiles!

I played a version with 3 HFD and one harpist ist the main. This makes robina save to play into droll and solves the „win the dice roll Problem.“
I was play Harpist for awhile in the main, but the issue with Storm there was, going into an established board, your opp CAN negate storm

How do we deal with Arise-Hearth stealing our banished birds? Ahah
It's actually not a huge issue! Arise Heart attaching is a Mandatory Trigger, so it will always be CL 1, then our birds are optional Triggers from CL2 and on!
@@keasbeytcg so for example, if Arise is already on the field, and I normal summon Empen, tributing robina and eglen, how is the Chain? My oppo could steal robina or eglen am i correct?
@@davidezaia7331 So, they could TRY to. Arise Heart would be CL 1, because it's a Mandatory Trigger. Then you'd get prio for the optional Triggers of your birds, Cl 2 and 3 (let's just say here you're recovering both birds). Chain resolves, cl 3 and 2, both birds come back to hand, then Arise Heart at Cl 1 resolves without effect

Hey! So, it depends! If you want to lean harder into going and, 3x up on drnm and evenly in the main, and consider moving the feather storm to the side! If you want more of a split the difference first or 2nd, you can move one more storm to the main, and add in an extra drnm

Why Denko Sekka over Dark Simorgh?
The short answer is, Denko, despite not being searchable, is the better card, longer answer though I actually have a while video on the Floowandereeze playlist comparing them
Raiza doesnt need a target in gy in order to resolve, since its mandatory and must trigger it resolves as much as possible and u also get the bounce to hand
So, for part one of his effect, you have to have something to target for both, and if you don't that part of the effect will still activate but resolve without effect, but the bounce to hand CAN still resolve
This would be the case if the eff was optional but, its mandatory it tries to resolve as much as possible
At least thats how it got ruled on my nationals after an appeal
@@xhyvxgagsbdbjs2635 sorry wasnt avoiding this, was looking for a source, but I've seen it ruled a few times that because it's Mandatory to target BOTH 1 card on field AND 1 in GY, it resolves w.o effect because it can't do both its mandatory "costs"
They said targeting isnt "real costs" since you dont tribute discard or pay Lp, even though it has the colon. Its defined as activation requirements and because its mandatory it activates even if the activation requirements are not completely met and resolves as much as possible. The eff does not has to put both targets on top of the deck since if u D. D. Crow it still stacks the card on field.

For Labyrith, I tend to side out the DRNM (just doesn't do a ton), a copy of Imperm (really kinda loses utility except on Ariana). Denko is the obvious side in, if they don't have solemn, you more or less win on the spot. Cosmics and the 3rd evenly come in. While they can sometimes play around these, there's always merit to saying "use your backrow now when you didn't intend to or lose them". Aside from that, that tends to be a great matchup for turboing out Winds and just eating backrow on their turn!

@@anotheremail7118 Yes! Winds doesn't consider it a cost, just part of the effect
