Mine cut like this. It had a 6 inch PTO pulley driving 6 inch spindle pulleys i.e. 1:1 ratio. I swapped in a 7 inch PTO clutch and pulley. It pulls the grass up into the deck so the blades can cut it off better and disperses it out the chute quite a bit better. I've done this on a few people's mowers it seems the bad boys are one of the very few to have a slow tip speed which sucks when cutting anything higher than a normal / weekly cut yard

They make flail blades for finish mowers like this just FYI if you were to need to do this more than once or twice a year
