Great review. I have one of those. Here in the UK it is called Diana mauser AM03 and it is powered by a gas ram over here not a spring. It is only available in .22 and the stock is all black. Also it has a carbine barrel which is fitted with a bigger silencer than the USA version. I have owed mine for 4 years and it has never let me down. I prefer it to my hw80. I use RWS super dome pellets which suit the gun very well. I own 33 air rifles and my first go to hunting rifles are my .177 Diana 34 classic and my .22 Diana mauser AM03.
Another great review--love your systematic approach across the various guns you test. At some point you could publish a comparison spreadsheet for all your tests using the same protocol.
Wow, just found your channel. Good stuff! I own the AMO3 in .22 cal and she is truly magnificent, your review is spot on and I look forward to catching up on your past reviews and future also.
Happy Birthday!! Wow awesome mount reminds me old Unurtil scopes,,Love your channel ! My Gamo whisper 22 i love it tore that post off the mount they fixed it but i neeed new set up ...The HN terminators ya have to try and the Gamo rocket ....Thanlx for your great reviews! Merica!!
Starting to look into quiet backard airguns. I like the fact that you have to load a pellet manually. One less thing to lose or try to find years from now. I was also curious about the decibels, and need to do more research on the velocity. I like the gun a lot. This takes me in a new direction.
First stage recoil comes on release of the piston and this is rearward [for every action there is a reaction] so as the piston moves forward the rest of the gun moves backwards.
Another good review. I've never seen that bipod setup on a springer before. I'm going to look into that for my HW97K. A link to these would save me time. Thanks for the video.
Hi Terry, I am trying to locate some of the rails and I am in the process of building a website. I hope to offer some items in the future at minimal costs for those that are interested. Thanks for watching!
I have four of these Bullseye mounts and they work fantastic! I have another on order for a new Diana 350 Magnum. They are back ordered until June. The Dampa rings does nothing to protect your scope from the violent reverse recoil. But I only put this mount on the heavy recoil rifle. This N-Tec really didn't need it, but the 350 will. Thanks for watching!
@@AirgunDetectives You can get free apps that are pretty accurate for your phone which will measure decibels.. Airgun reviews are not complete without an average decibel test.
@@GravytyMusic I have one....but all these guns are usually between 80 and 95 DBS on average. I usually will just point out the gun is really loud or simply backyard friendly. I try to keep these reviews as short as possible but that never works...I may add it at some point. Thank you watching and I appreciate your comments!
I have a question on my rifles l get groups like that quarter size or smaller sometimes but dont hit center (bullseye) like your groups do l need to move the crosshairs to the center or leave it as is???????
Great shooting! Amazed at the tight grouping for the off-camera target! Do you have a preference between the ASP20 vs AM03? (Again, thank you for the great review!)
They are both fantastic 5 star guns! You do get a bit more power out of the Sig with the same light cocking effort. But the AM03 comes with all you see, scope, bullseye mount and a rifle case. The Sig may be slightly less pellet picky, but not by any significant margin. You can't go wrong with either pick. Look for a sale and eventually add both to your collection. 👍
Thanks! I have been trying to find sales, and be patient.... Not a lot of shooting going on in the cold north right now, so I can wait a little. Perhaps both will be on the list. I appreciate the AM03 bundle, and I’m sure I would like both, but I am leaning toward the Sig. The extra power and the idea of owning a Sig Sauer are tilting the balance. Thanks again!
@@AirgunDetectives thank-you, i've been looking at this 1, the sig asp20 or the weihrauch 95 field pro, i already have 1 weihrauch, i love it, the bently's of air rifles
@@woofman4796 thank you! Wintertime and extra time to “shop” are a bad combination for my wallet as well. I will look into those models as well, and try to keep from spending extremes.
I have the .22 caliber version and it is awesome. With the power of this rifle I would go with the .22 over the .177. You will get more FPE and more of a selection of pellets in .22 caliber. If you choose the .177 you will have to use very heavy pellets to stabilize it for accuracy. They are fantastic rifles and I hope to review my .22 cal 350 soon.

I Love those Diana Guns. I have one for more then 20 years and it works fine.
And i Love your detailed Reviews. Keep em comming.
Thanks for watching! My goal is to release a new video every Friday. I have several of the Diana rifles and I will feature them all on future videos.
That was a very good review. I can see the firing cycle is very smooth. That type of gun will serve you well , and can be handed down for generations.
They T06 Trigger is a nice touch as well! I appreciate you tuning in! You need to send me an intro and enter the contest 👍😉
I just watched a second time-still a great review!!!
I agree, very good gun. I just picked one up today, second hand but in very good condition. Thanks for the good review.👍
You can't go wrong with this AMO3. One of my top 5 favorites 👍

Very quiet and I would classify it as "Backyard" friendly. 👍

I really like this gun
I don’t think they make them anymore
I need one of those scope mounts on my Diana 34....22????
Nice, try the H&N Baracuda match in 5.52 excellent pellet, i have the Diana magnum 350 N-tec, Awesome gun. Greetings from the Netherlands.
Does this mount good for IGT system rifles or the Sportmaster Dampa mount will have better protection on the scope and give more consistency?

Hi. Best pellet for Diana 350 magnum 5.5? About.
What is the maximum effective range for this air gun?
Depends...for pest control or small game 40-50 yards. For knocking over an aluminum can 100 yards.
How quiet was the moderator? Did you measure the decibel rating?? Thanks!
It is "Really" quiet! One of the more quiet rifles and it is extremely backyard friendly.

If you were in a survival situation and you had only a break barrel what would you choose? Gamo swam magnum? Carnivore?
Sig ASP20 👍😉
how do you like the barrel lock up on this ?
Very smooth, very tight tolerance and locks solid in place. 5-star gun👍

Hi
Alguien tiene el link para comprar el rifle?
Solo haz una búsqueda en la web. Debería poder encontrar un minorista.

Bangladesh price
Rekord trigger beats the shit out of the 6
The rest hobby, would increase the FPS about 100 Faster
That is one Of the weakest Diana's I've seen only 700's fps
Four to five hundred bucks, pricey.
Except it is an amazing rifle...and it came with everything I showed, including the scope, the mount and the case which is about $180 of accessories. Thank you for watching :).
Low power for 500 bucks. I'd rather have the sig asp 20
Hell thats got no recoil ,not like my magnum it's nasty
I like that scope mount set up nice ,will C if they will work on a Gamo magnum
@@kowhaijack6033 watch my review on the Gamo Swarm Magnum and the Magnum, they have the same mount.
