Remember that if Dan had “metalized” this he would have labeled it “metal version.” Have you played The Last Goodbye from the Hobbit movie? It’s a beautiful acoustic ballad. There’s a new Dan/Minniva duet of Beauty and the Beast on her channel that just came out a few days ago. And a new metalized song promised soon! Thanks - glad you’ll be doing more Dan.

A song so old that its origins are lost in time, full of interpreters everywhere... It talks about the impossibility of truly recovering a love that has been lost. My favorite version WAS the one by Simon and Garfunkel... until I saw this one by Daniel. The way he superimposes 3 different harmonies of his own voice creates an almost magical - misty - "sound image" that takes us back in time, in places we only intuit the existence of. This version is part of his "unplugged" project with Gabriel. It's a shame they discontinued... Thanks so much for bringing us back to Dan with your reactions! It's a really beautiful arrangement that Dan just aces with his harmonies! I love Dan's folky, accoustic offerings as much or even more than his metalized fare!
