We are talking about a guy who on his first ever try at rebuilding a team drafted KD, Russ, Ibaka and Harden in his first three years as a GM. Now in his second rebuild he’s armed with the most draft capital in NBA history 🤯 he’s had carte blanche to design any roster he wants. Personally talent wise I think Houston have a better group of young guys and I say that as a Thunder fan. But where we excel is the fit. Everyone has to be a dribble/pass/shoot guy even Chet. Everyone defends. They all understand SGA is the leader. The court is never crowded because everyone has specific roles to play. Whereas Houston have just been drafting best prospects regardless of fit. They still have a bright future though. They just need to figure out who the man is there and put the best team around him and flip the guys who don’t fit.

The thunder looked that good last night against the nuggets and they didn’t have Isaiah Hartenstein and only made 22.2% of their 3’s. They haven’t even scratched the surface of how great they can be which is scary to think about.
And their defense is one of the best in the league And let's not forget the coach and the general manager they are geniuses And the depth of this team is scary

In a desperate bid to get Finland mentioned, i'd love to see similar video from Grizzlies, who got Tuomas Iisalo as their assistant coach to run the offence. Iisalo created historically good (European standards) offence for Paris last season and some of his plays are pretty cool.
Literally that was always my biggest frustration about Westbrook, he’s always chilling in the paint ball watching I only see him defend when it’s transition defence, he’s on the ball or he’s already near the paint. I think it got worse once he started getting all those triple doubles, I feel like since then or a bit before then he stayed closer to the paint and chills there in order to get the rebounds rather than being on the perimeter. Yes the rebounds are good but they come at a bigger cost when there no perimeter pressure and then he looks around surprises when his match up or someone he should’ve switched to splashes from the perimeter or a back door cut
The only thing is we missed a shit ton of 3 pointers They came within the flow of the offense though and a lot of these guys were 40% or high 30% 3 point shooters based on percentage last year I believe 3 point shooting (outside of Boston is down) so hopefully we start hitting those 3 pointers and I cannot wait to see how I-Hart gets involved in this offense with his passing abittes
