I HATE people who are hardcore into politics… growing up it was impolite/in bad taste to ask someone who they voted for! I miss that!! Now it’s fuck you if you don’t vote for the same candidate I do! I know people who would unfriend folks they’ve known for 20+ years for voting for Obama/Trump! It’s ridiculous!!

While I agree that people are way too quick to hate each other based on politics and they let their voting history define their personalities, some people don't have the luxury of being able to ignore politics. For some people, their day to day rights and the potential for a decent future for themselves and their children depends on political outcomes in a tangible way. Someone else's politics shouldn't lead to hating them and a lot of people treat politics like a team they cheer for, but for those who are directly affected by certain issues, they often have no choice but to stay dialled in or actively stand up for their own rights or the rights of their loved ones.
@@Len124 Fair enough, context is lost in brief comments online. There's a clear difference between someone bringing up issues that directly impact them and the guys who aren't really affected bringing it up out the blue.

I'd like to point out that he did not accept the election results and all of the subsequent efforts / antics to discredit and loophole the law and system
