I also can't understand how they can lose popularity if they date or marry. So many don't so they can keep their career hence so many in their 40's and not married. That's not life I feel sorry for them

Actors aren’t happy people. The live to portray good looking, well adjusted and rich people. There is no depth to their own personality and are needy people. Live your life and find happiness in your life as a natural looking Korean.
Generalisation here but a lot of good actors are actually introverts. The acting allows them to be who they aren't and often that is an extrovert, or someone in control of their life and emotions. There was a time when Hollywood actors couldn't get married or have children. The differences though are much greater because K idols bring a fortune into Korea. The government and industries depend on them for the huge growth in tourism, the food industry, cosmetics, makeup etc. And its worked. The Kpop and kdrama Idols have gone global, big time. The problem is mainly that their popularity is totally in the hands of fan bases plus the internet. And no one can live up to the Korean fans - they're killers. Nor can anyone live in the spotlight and be an ideal human at all times. The pressure on them is unbelievable. Why so many suicide.

I’ve commented on posts about Yoo ah-in and am sickened of his treatment by the judicial system and the judgements from the “Netizens” and especially that he is wasting his enormous talent sitting in prison. Kim ji Soo was banned in 2021 from performing because of school bullying while he was in school. That was about 15 years ago. Hyungin, So Ye Ji, and the twin female volleyball players keep being added to the list. Please come to the US to perform!
