Never thought I’ll see Bruno Mars teaching me about filmmaking
Gotta pay off that debt somehow
He looks more like this Moroccan rapper called Issam

If this video gets 24K I’ll do uptown funk live
Finally an actually helpful video that’s not 30 minutes long. Thanks bro, keep it up.

Working in Hollywood, this is one of the most valuable videos I’ve seen of it’s kind. Well done and thank you. 👏👏🙏🎥

I’ll definitely not gonna judge you or say you don’t know what cinematic videos are. Because you totally know it and did a great job with this video. Trust me, you’ll never have to worry about the comments section. Very nice done. Thank you bro
I do photography and don’t really do any video… but this was great. Nice to see a clean breakdown and has me thinking about my work differently.

anything that makes you think out of the box, that makes you see with a different perspective, and be prepared to takes risks & mistakes. You got me & I am very grateful, thank you Jon. I have been using Davinci Resolve since 18.06 & obviously a novice, but I respect people like yourself that take time to teach us newbies.
Well said! Thanks for watching
This is so insane, I love the intro here and sorry but we need to talk also about your edgy look! U as a person just in front of the camera gives me cinematic vibes, because u look like an amazing hollywood actor, love your style! and your jokes here and there, all in one.....amazing youtube channel, thanks for your tips and inspiration! Greetings from Berlin

So glad that I found your Channel 🔥🔥
Me too! 🙌
I don’t know how I feel about shooting through objects. It’s a fine line between adding texture to the shot and feeling like the perspective of a stalker watching someone from afar.
Strong work!
Thanks brotha!

lol Fo sho. Thanks man
ooou subbed….I am invested in your channel after just one vid!!!
Thanks for subbing!
Definitely it is all about CINEMATIC 😅 best cinematic greetings from an older german filmmaker 🎥
lol yeah thanks for stopping by
I subbed, pretty much the basics for anyone who truly appreciates the production VFX… well not even that, making more natural and dramatic tones like 2019 the Twilight Zone, top angle depth is my favorite. I usually take pictures from a crouched angle, leaning back a bit to give that wide burst. Blah blah blah GGs bro!
Thanks for the sub! Appreciate it
My favorite creator on TH-cam.
You’re the best homie
Damn, I wish!
What camera was this shot on? And what editing software? Very solid b roll 😊
Good Knownledge 😍⚡tgankz bro👍

🤩💥🙌
JESUS ESTÁ VOLTANDO!!!
no i dont know the basics and it will be a good idea to make videos on that !
Will do!
I have a question.
How do I add movement to shots that have no movement at all? Like zooming into a person's face. Do I bring movement by introducing "shake" or "jitter" into the shots?
Thanks in advance.
It just depends what the mood of the shot is. If it’s just a static tripod shot you can key frame a zoom. I wouldn’t add Shake into post production. Doing things in camera or when your shooting is best. Shake and jitter is good if you want to add tension and drama. You want the movement to help tell the story
@@Jon_bodhi Oh okay! Thanks for the advice!
Bro what is that intro music? Sounds so sick!

Cinematic edit/look ?
I record things on my iPhone and everytime I upload it to YT the quality goes to trash 😢 is there a way to fix it?
Jesus, can you please make a color grading walkthrough? You’re one of the only creators I can find who actually has professional looking shots and I would love to learn how you get them to pop so much
can you rely back to me about the link to the song that you at the begging of the video
What is that intro song ? Someone

Hello brother. I cannot afford to buy a professional camera right now. Will these techniques work for smartphone videography as well. If not then please make another video for us poor folks here. 😢🙏🏻
For sure!! Will do
0:52 not necessarily, I mean, there are bad looking movies too
