Fantastic video Jon! Really insightful
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great breakdown! Love your work🙏🏻
I appreciate that!
Amazing work really inspiring!
Thanks a lot!
I just found you and I already love you and your skills.
I appreciate that
What we needed
Absolutely a top breakdown 👏 Hawai is definitely awesome for filmmakers 😅 here in Germany it is always raining 😂
So happy I recently found you, this is the type of content I’ve been looking for for a long time. Great tip! I just started doing this type of video and wow I learned so much from my mistakes. I constantly forget to change shutter speeds when I’m doing 24/30/60fps shooting but finally built a good habit on checking
Heck ya! Thanks for stopping by
Great breakdown
Thanks!
The algorithm gods were kind sending your vid my way. Vibing with your chill vibe. :)
lol thanks man
Amazing channel man - subbed
Thanks!
Great work! wanted to ask. Do you record all these in a single day?
dude where do you live 😭 ts looks BEAUTIFUL
Big Island Hawaii!
This is amazing
Thanks!
You deserves more bro❤❤❤❤
Thank you!
Nice work, Jon! First video of yours I've watched, thanks to the algorithm. Two questions:
1. Was this shot in a day or two? / Ok scrap that, I just watched the video and it was shot in the span of a week. 🙄
2. How long did it take you to edit?
Thanks!
lol way too long. I suck at being fast. All together I took about 10 days
@@Jon_bodhi good to know I'm not the only one sucking at this! Haha, thanks for the reply
I LOVE this! I immediately subscribed! I also follow Vuhlandes as well, and he's also AMAZING! I just started researching cinematic short films and plan to start my YT channel soon. I have ZERO experience, and no where to go but UP! Thank you!
Your work is really great. Can you share your journey as how you ended up being so great at film making?
I will try! Thanks for watching
Looks so good! What was the lens you used for the shot in bed?
I used the Sigma 24-70 for sony
It’s colour grading that I just can’t understand. I’ve tried and I don’t get it. I know that would transform my videos too!
Great video Bud. Can you please give me your export settings. I use DaVinci and color grade but when I export, it looks slightly washed out and not as sharp
If it looks slightly washed out might be because you have a Mac, so basically set your color settings in Rec 709 A. that should fix it.
@@CABRALCREATES ok. Thank you
yup. Have your settings set to rec 709 A
What’s the specific magic arm you’re using? The ones I’m seeing don’t come with a clamp
amzn.to/3y6VUjd . It's kind of expensive but it is built like a tank! Other arms I use just don't hold the weight of my sony camera well
@@Jon_bodhi is the clamp an add-on piece you have to buy? I might be blind but not seeing where it’s able to clamp to something
3:08 where can i buy this holding gear :P
noga cine arm
Hey where is the location ?
Big Island Hawaii
wow! just found you by chance. Super cool content. I'm brazilian and I've Just started my life as a filmmaker. You video was very useful for me. I followed you on Instagram!
Awesome! Thank you!
Great work! wanted to ask. Do you record all these in a single day?
No! It took me about 5 days.
